Shouta ran straight inside the base, not wasting a single moment to flick his head anywhere but straight ahead. Which was a big mistake, as a voice suddenly rang just before he could enter the building.
"Letting the worry get ahead of you, Eraserhead?"
Shouta snapped his head to the cold voice, only to be met with blue flames. He instinctively pulled on his capture binds and flung it up the railing of the roof.
"Heh~ I guess you're a Pro-Hero after all," the owner of the cold voice mewled in sattire. He was a young man, perhaps early 20's in age, with black, spikey hair and burnt scars. Lots of burnt scars, it consisted most of his body, covering it in various degrees of medicinal stitches in an attempt to patch up any salvageable skin.
Shouta, on the other hand, was swinging with his capture weapon, black eyes turning red and hair sticking itself up as his quirk activated. The gears on his mind were turning fast, trying to come up with a plan as he caught sight of a blue forest fire not far from where they are. He swung his binds forward in an attempt to wrap it around the villain, and pulled him in just as he jumped closer. He stretched his hand, grabbed the villain's head, and drove it straight to his knee cap, with a sickenning crunch sound. With a tug of his binds, he had the villain fall face flat unto the cold ground. Shouta landed hard on the villain's back, just as he placed his hand on his enemy's head to still hm. Shouta's other hand quickly took hold of the man's wrist.
"Tell me your purpose, number, and positions," Shouta barked.
"Man, is this an interview for some kind of slum book?" the man questioned in a light, playful tone. "name's Dabi, by the way."
"Tell me," he snarled. "Otherwise this will happen," he threatenned. He pulled the wrist he was holding, and the elbow socket popped loud. "Your right arm will be next if you don't spill out the beans. Let's do this logically. If we get to your legs, it would be annoying to transort you."
"Ho?" he chuckled tantalizingly insulting. "As if you don't have a transporter of your own?"
"Just tell me already!" Shouta snapped.
"Are you in a hurry, Eraser?"
"Eraser!" Vlad King came panting.
Dabi took that time Shouta was called to push himself up and free from his grip. "As expected of a UA teacher," he mumbled lowly. "Hey, teacher," he said, and the underground hero had an inkling feeling that something was going to happen, so he tugged at his capture weapon for a more firm hold on the villain, but the villain was torn in half from where his capture weapon was wrapped around him, showy and liquidy. "Are your students important?" he asked as the last remnants of his liquid body dripped to the ground. "i hope you can protect them till the end," his last words carried on with the wind.
"What was that just now?" Vlad King asked as he ran to Shouta's side.
Shouta was thinking. He was on the verge of panicking, deciphering Dabi's warning and underlying threat. What was their intention? How did they knew their location? How many villains are there? He had too many questions, and he wasn't in control of the situation. He needed answers, and he needed them fast.
Another man dressed in a black skin-tight suit from the tip of his hair to the last skin of his toes was suddenly dropped to the ground by a... a blue dolphin?! On air?!
"Eraserhead-dono! Vlad King-dono!" was a rushed shout from a teenage-sounding voice that came after the dolphin. Basil stretched his arm, and the dolphin went back to being a ring. "Same as Sawada-dono and the rest. It's an animal manifestation of our quirk," he explained, seeing the confused looks on the teacher's faces. "Anyway, this is one of the villains I saw. Apparently he has a cloning type of quirk." [a/n: I'm too tired to convert Basil's words into old english ._.]
"Then the villain in patches was just a dummy, and his real quirk are the blue fire he released," Shouta muttered as he roughly made a head count. So far he had 3villains to take care of, 2 from the clearing and Dabi. Basil had caught 1. Who knew how many there were.
He had just granted Sawada's request for combat through their ear piece when the sound of Midoriya's uneven but rushed shout made Shouta whip his head into his direction. He was all beat up, which made Shouta gulp because he knew Midoriya was strong. And fast. He went to save Kota, and Shouta depended a lot in Midoriya's speed. He put a lot of faith and trust in the speed component of his quirk.
To see Midoriya all beaten up, Shouta was petrified.
Yet his eyes had this steeled resolve behind them as he held Kota on his back, a far cry from the tombstone grinning Midoriya who was talking to Spinner a while ago. "We had an encounter with a villain named Muscular a while ago. Skylark is taking care of him as of this moment. Kota-kun has a water quirk. He can put out the fire," he reported, speaking quickly Shouta had to strain his ears to keep up with the words spilling out of his mouth. "Sensei, we have to tell everybody. They're after Kacchan and Tsuna."
"Kacchan?" Vlad King parroted just as Basil gasped.
Shouta connected to Mandalay's channel. "Mandalay, take heed. They're after Ground Zero and Vongola Decimo. Everyone in Class A and B, permission has been granted to engage in combat."
