Izuku shifted in his bed, trying to get some sleep in his new room. He was tired, from moving into the newly made building that was integrated by the dorm system, to orientation of the said dorm, to classes, unpacking stuff, Ashido's "Room King" game, to some emotional dialogues from the apologizing Asui.

Everybody knew Ashido was trying to lighten up the tension and close the gap that had been built since the summer camp, but Asui couldn't rest easy. She knew, her words, that what she said back then weren't as nice as she thought it would, being the blunt person that she is, so she apologized. Eijiro brushed it off saying that after considering everything, she was right, and turned to him, but Izuku waved him off too and softly poked at their string of bond, since he didn't knew why Izuku wasn't moving to save their boss. There was also this heavy gloom looming over them, because Aizawa had threatened to expel Eijiro (nobody wanted him expelled, he was like the sunshine in their classroom) for wanting to go and defy Aizawa, but the teacher gave them the benefit of the doubt for not actually tolerating the redhead's plan.

Sato had won the title "Room King" by majority of votes from the girls, mostly because of his forgotten chiffon cake. Everyone had a slice, and there were a few nose bleeds and fainting spells seeing the happily contented expression of the recently cake-deprived Tsuna upon first bite. (Did anyone tell someone that cake is Tsuna's favorite dessert?) The boys had to agree, even if they didn't vote for Sato, because of Tsuna's blushing face. (Sato nearly shoved the remainder of the cake to Tsuna if all the girls - excluding Ochako and Chrome - hadn't made a glomp fest with the poor brunet on the middle first.)

There was also the impromptu mini meeting of the Vongola students held in Tsuna's room, where they tackled on how to move about now that there were less privacy in the dorms.

So, those were the things that made Izuku exhausted and wanting sleep, his room all dark and him all prepared for slumber, but it seems sleep itself would want to prove him that it is better in elusiveness than Izuku himself.

Izuku let his mind wander in hopes of tiring his mind to sleep. His thoughts drifted from one topic to another, until it planted itself on the new development of his Guardian bonds. He had acquired a Lightning in Eijiro Kirishima, a guy who had an open mind dead set on being a "manly" hero.

He had ideals on how a hero should act, and so far Izuku didn't see any flaw in it. There was always good morals, and kind acts, which made him better than Tenya in the "how a Hero should act" department.

He had an open mind, sure, but Izuku does not know how open it is. How would he accept the news of them harmonizing, making a bond click in place? Would the redhead even be able to grasp the truth about him? About his past? About who he is and what he did?

Izuku is a living dystopian nightmare, his outlook in life having been changed from its majestically made rainbow colors to the chaotically bleak gray, after his misfortunes. And wasn't that a thing mocking Izuku himself, wielding all 8Flames of the mafia, a cacophony of rainbow itself.
