his world was once a blank canvas,
but she came in and took paintbrushes,
created a whole masterpiece effortlessly,
filled with every colour of the rainbow.

Sean held out his hand, pretending that Kaycee was a princess and guided her to his car, which made the two laugh. They used to do that whenever they were hopping onto the same car when they were younger. Just that this time, Sean was at the wheel.

"Where to, Ms Rice?" Sean adjusted his imaginary tie and collar.

"To the park, Sir. I believed I have already stated it on the Uber app?" Kaycee smiled and Sean scrolled through his imaginary phone.

Make-believe had always been something they loved to do, even till now. It never got old. Simple yet fun.

"Ahh I must have forgot. Alright, buckle up!" Sean raised his eyebrows and started the engine up.

"I have a meet up with a lovely friend of mine, I hope the ride won't be long. He's waiting for me there." Kaycee smiled and Sean did too, understanding that she was talking about him.

"Just curious, this friend of yours, is he cool? Perhaps funny? I love someone with an amazing sense of humour." Sean chuckled.

"Of course. He is also mostly certainly talented. He cooks well, got on national television for that, an amazing choreographer as well as an extremely expressive dancer. He also edits really good videos, if you ever need him to, I'm sure he would be down to help you out." Kaycee rambled everything she could think of about Sean, which probably went on for more than 5 minutes through the trip.

And throughout that 5 minutes, he never felt happier to have someone recite every accomplishment he achieved, even if he knew all of them by heart.

Knowing the fact that someone was willing to take that time to appreciate those achievements you have gotten and remind you over and over again how amazing you were, truly was such a wonderful feeling.

His smile said it all, which Kaycee noticed through the driver's mirror as she was listing all of them out. She didn't need to search his name up on Google or anything, she knew them right away from memory.

It was a promise she kept for him before she left for her trip to Toronto, that she would always be there to celebrate every achievement of his, even if they couldn't be with each other.

Whenever she saw his face on advertisements of new competitions, she would make sure to tune in to the television programme, even if she doesn't watch any, or catch it live on YouTube. No matter what, she wanted to be there to witness his glories.

And she kept her word. Of course she did. She was Kaycee Rice after all, Sean Lew's best friend.

"Ms Rice, we have arrived at your destination. Please have a great day ahead." Sean winked at her, before unlocking the doors of the car for her to alight.

"The ride was a 5/5 for me. It was a lovely service." Kaycee giggled and hopped out of the car, which Sean followed after.

"You better." Sean broke character for a bit and whispered, which made Kaycee burst into more laughter. Sean sent a wink her way, trying to bribe her with his goofy self.
