"Sean?"

"Yes munchkin?"

Kaycee could melt right there in the middle of Target. And she would if only they weren't in a slight hurry.

"Why are fairy lights, white and grey blankets and pillows on the list?" Kaycee examined each word carefully, admiring his handwriting at the same time.

"You'll see why later. Now come on, let's get them quickly." Sean grabbed her hand and threaded his fingers through hers. He pulled her towards him, closing up the distance between them. Kaycee swore that someone turned the AC up because warm air filled the space between them instead.

"You're so cute." Kaycee teased and snuggled against his arm as they walked down the blankets aisle.

"Don't tell me something I already know." Sean chuckled, getting a smack from her immediately after. She still gave him a kiss on his cheek though.

"Only because I love you." She commented.

The drive was long and Kaycee had no idea where they were going. She was terrible with directions and orientation. She doesn't remember which turns lead to which place, neither does she know how to drive home from Target without a GPS. Yet, she has driven down the same roads at least a million times.

Sean held her hand in his and he grabbed onto the gearing stick. She noticed his bracelet that slid down his wrist and was now positioned right next to hers.

Sean & Kaycee.

The sight of their names written together made her squeal in joy. It instantly caused her to have a smile spread right across her face in an instant.

With her other hand, she unlocked her phone that was connected to the car's speakers and played a song from her playlist.

Kaycee felt Sean's grip around her hand tighten as the lyrics played. A comfortable amount of force wrapped around her hand.

"I love this song and I don't know why." Sean sarcastically said.

"Me neither." Kaycee played along.

They watched the scenery move past them, the trees slowly swaying in the breeze as their car passed. In the moment, she never felt so carefree and happy. Her heart felt like a bird freed from its cage for the first time in ages.

Being with him felt like Rapunzel finally finding her Prince Charming and managed to escape from her tower. She forgets every problem that she has the moment her eyes land on him.
