Monopoly, poker cards, Uno. They both sat down in front of the cupboard filled with board games, dumbfounded. Their initial plan was to play one of these games, but really now that they have seen his whole collection of board games and cards that he has, they want to play it all.

"Have you tried playing Blackjack with poker cards?" Sean asked.

"Blackjack? I have never heard of that before. It probably is because I never ever touched a single poker card in my life before." Kaycee perked up her eyebrow in visible confusion.

"Shuffle the card deck first."

Kaycee does as she was asked to, but the cards kept spilling out of the sides and fell out of the deck. She tried to take out and slot a few cards at once into different spots.

Sean wrapped his hands around hers, though unnecessary but he still did it anyways, and taught her how to do one of the shuffles, the overhand shuffle.

"Some of the deck in one hand, the rest of the deck in the other. Grip it firmly and slide the cards into the different layers, like this." Sean guided and demonstrated how to do it.

With the assistance of Sean and what seemed like 30 minutes later, she was impressed to know she got hang of it. Her cards were no longer clumsily falling out of the deck and she could shuffle them a little faster.

"You can draw as many cards as you want, so long the total is 21 and below. Once we are ready, reveal the cards and closest to 21 wins." Sean said to Kaycee as he laid down two cards per person.

He gestured her to go first, and she drew a card. She had 17 in total from the now three cards that she held. She contemplated if she should take another one. It must be of 4 and below, which chances are really slim. She decided not to take the risk and let Sean draw.

Sean drew his cards from the deck and almost hit 21, missing by 1. Of course, he was a little disappointed that the heart didn't contain one more heart, just to make up for that 1 he needed.

He slightly frowned, to show his slight disappointment, yet not obvious enough that Kaycee could notice it from where she was sitting.

"Ready to reveal?" Sean smiled, still confident that his deck would be higher than hers.

"Wait...hmm...should I? Ugh. I'm going to regret my choice." Kaycee revealed her deck after her painstaking decision to not draw another.

"NOOOOO!" Kaycee kicked her feet against the floor in dismay and anger, "I knew I should have drawn another card. How in the world did you get that close to 21 anyways?"

"Talent. Duh." Sean confidently said, realising the 1 didn't matter in the end and he could heave a huge sigh of relied to release the anxiety he had.

Kaycee meanwhile was still kicking her feet like a little girl throwing a small fit in the candy store, Sean giggled at how adorable she looked. Reminded him well of how the two were acting when they were younger.

"Adorable." He mumbled under his breath, but it ended up being a thought out loud, since Kaycee immediately directed her attention at Sean.
