Ciara
In the morning, I woke up to the sunlight shining through the curtains in my bedroom. My eyes open slowly, trying to adjust to the light. I immediately regretted it. I placed my hand over my forehead and rubbed it. I had a pounding headache from last night's shenanigans. I groaned and looked over to my left side to find an Advil and a glass of water on my nightstand. I rushed to take it, hoping it would kick in sooner rather than later. This is exactly why I'm not a heavy drinker. I hate the hangovers.

I threw the covers back and put my legs over the edge of the bed, carefully standing to my feet. I slowly walked to my bathroom and turned the shower on. Once I stripped from my night clothes, I pinned my hair and put a shower cap on before stepping into the walk-in shower. The warm water hitting my skin instantly relaxed my body. My eyes closed as I let it run down my body. After standing under the shower head for a few minutes, I grabbed my towel and washed myself off. I stayed in for a few extra minutes before cutting the water off and getting out.

I grabbed my drying-off towel and dried off, wrapping it around my body after I finished. I put on deodorant and stood in the mirror to brush my teeth. When I finished in the bathroom, I moved to my bedroom to lotion my body and get dressed in something comfortable: a white tank top and grey boy shorts. La was sleeping a couple of doors down in one of the guestrooms. So I went to check on her. I softly knocked on her door to see if she was awake.

"Come in!" I opened the door to see her in the middle of getting dressed.

"La, you should've told me you weren't dressed." I fussed. She laughed and shrugged her shoulders.

"It's nothing you haven't seen last night." I groaned and covered my face in embarrassment.

"Oh my gosh, stop! I was drunk and you know it!"

"You still liked it. I know you did." My cheeks got hot as I blushed.

"Are you blushing?"

"What? No! Why would I be blushing?" I lied through my teeth and she knows it.

"Let me find out you're bisexual." I rolled my eyes at her in annoyance.

"I am not bisexual, La. I just had too much to drink. Plus, you guys are the ones who persuaded me to do it." I say, my voice laced with irritation. She was making this out to be more than what it was.

"Okay. I'll drop it."

"Thank you."

It was going on one o'clock in the afternoon. So La and I decided to get something for lunch. I threw on a pair of sweatpants and slid into my UGG slides. We decided to take La's car so she could drive us. We didn't know where we were getting lunch as usual.

"Where should we eat at?" She looked over at me. I shrugged my shoulders.

"I don't know."

"What do you have a taste for?"

"Hmmm. I haven't had Chinese in a while, but I don't know."

"I'm kind of craving seafood, to be honest."

"That sounds good. I haven't had that in a while either." I pull out my phone to look up some places. When I found a spot with good reviews nearby, I put the location in her GPS.

"It's like thirty-five minutes away. Is that cool?"

"Yeah. We dining in or to-go?"

"I don't know. I wanna get out the house, but I wanna stay in too." I laughed.
