Omniscient
Ciara walked up the sidewalk, rolling her Louis Vuitton suitcase along with her. Her heels clicked on the smooth pavement as she did so. A bright smile covered her face as she reached out to ring the doorbell. Russ jumped after he heard the doorbell go off. He wasn't expecting any company today. So he had no clue who it could be. He sighed and sat up in bed, stretching out his muscles. He rubbed the sleep from his eyes and threw the covers back before heading downstairs to see who was at the door.

"Hey, baby!" A smile spread on his face.

"Hey. I didn't know you were coming today. I thought you were coming this weekend. Why didn't you call me?" He took her luggage and moved to the side to let her in, closing the door once she was in safely.

"I wanted to surprise you."

"I'm glad you came. I missed you." He circled his arms around her waist, embracing her in a hug before kissing her lips.

"I missed you, too."

"I'll take this upstairs, and then I'll be back down." Russell jogged up the stairs to his room to put the suitcase away. She made her way to the living room, sitting down on one of the couches and taking her heels off.

"These shoes were killing me."

"Where you been looking that fine? I know you didn't come here looking all sexy for me, did you?" Ciara looked up to the stairs as Russell walked back down. She chuckled.

"I had an interview. I didn't tell you?"

"No. How was it, though?" He took a seat next to her on the couch, pulling her legs into his lap.

"It was okay." She shrugged it off.

"What do you mean by okay? Was it boring?"

"For the most part, yeah."

"Nobody upset you, did they?" He knew how intrusive interviewers could get sometimes, and it was beyond frustrating. Especially when they got too deep into their personal lives.

"No. They were a little too nosey, though."

"The usual?"

"Yeah. Besides that, it was alright, though." She propped her elbow on the end of the couch while resting her head on her fist.

"You want anything to eat or drink?"

"Yeah. I didn't eat breakfast." Russell frowned at her.

"Why didn't you eat breakfast? I can't have you out there passing out on set. You know how many times people have passed out from not eating?"

"I woke up late, and I didn't have time." She explained to him.

"Next time, set that alarm." She playfully rolled her eyes as he pointed his finger at her.

"I'm serious, Ci. Anything could happen, and I don't want anything happening to you. Next time, you need to eat breakfast before you leave your condo." His voice was serious, but it was only because he cared.

"Yes, sir." She smirked. Russell gave her a blank stare, biting the inside of his cheek to keep from saying anything.

"How about we go out instead?" He changed the subject to take his mind off of his dirty thoughts.
