Russell
"You ready to do this, Russ?" Brian asked.

"Man, I'm more than ready. I been waiting for this day to come, and it's finally here."

"How do you think Ci's feeling right now? You think she's freakin out?" He asked, causing me to chuckle.

"Knowing Ci, she probably is. I know she wants everything to be perfect today, and it's been stressing her out a little. I've just been telling her to try to relax before she runs her damn blood pressure up." We both chuckle.

"I bet she has the girls running all over the place. They're all stressed out probably." He says, and I nod my head.

"So what y'all think they did last night? I bet they all hungover and shit. I know I am." Jerome says before laughing.

"I don't know, man. As long as things didn't get out of hand, we don't have anything to worry about. And you better take another Advil if you're still hungover. Ci's not about to get on my ass because you're hungover at our wedding. That goes for everybody else, too." The boys laugh and wave me off.

"We're good, Russ. Now, look who's starting to trip." Derek says.

"I'm just trying to make sure y'all don't go in there feeling like shit. I don't need ya'll throwing up at my wedding ceremony. I would have to beat y'all's asses for that." I say jokingly. Jerome sucked his teeth as the others laughed.

"Man, please. The only ass you gonna be beating is Ciara's when y'all go on y'all's honeymoon." He says, causing me to chuckle and shake my head at his bluntness.

"You play too much, man."

"You know it's true, though. You gonna be all up in those cheeks." He laughs.

"Alright. Watch how you talking about my girl." He held his hands up in defense.

"Chill, man. I ain't mean it like that." I side-eye him, and the guys laugh.

"Whatever, man. You talking about what I'm gonna be doing. You need to focus on you and Alani. Both of y'all flirt with each other all the time. I wouldn't be surprised if y'all are messing with each other on the low." I smirked at him, and he shook his head.

"Nah, Russ. She cool and all, and we may flirt from time to time, but she not my type." He says, and I raise my brows.

"And what do you mean by that? In the beginning, you were so set on Ci giving you her number so you could talk to her. What happened?" He sighed lightly.

"She just seems a little stuck up, in my opinion. Plus, I don't think she's feeling me like that." He shrugs.

"Y'all need to hang out alone and get to know each other better. Neither of y'all can deny that you two flirt with each other all the time. Especially when we went to the escape room." Brian says.

"They sure were. Y'all always try to play it off like y'all can't stand to be around each other and y'all annoy each other, but we know that low-key ya'll like each other." Derek says, and Brian and I agree. A smile forms on Jerome's face as he crosses his arms across his chest while leaning against the wall and rubbing his chin hairs.

"Either way it goes, I don't think she's trying to talk to nobody right now." I smack my lips at his excuse.

"You won't know until you try. Ask to hang out sometime or take her on a date. If you want a shot with her, you need to be the first one to make a move. She's not gonna chase you." I say.
