Ciara
Today, we all wanted to get out of the hotel and tour the city a bit more. Yesterday, we all went skating at the same place Russ and I went to some days ago. It was fun, so we figured it would be a great activity for us to do as a group. Today, Russ and the boys got to pick what we were going to do. They chose indoor paintballing and going to an escape room for the day. Tomorrow, we get to choose what we're going to do as a group. Our parents decided to stay back at the hotel to watch the kids since we felt they shouldn't be around us adults while we were out. We'll most likely go somewhere more kid-friendly another day.

We were on our way to the escape room right now. I was anxious about this because I'd never been to one before, and I was paranoid. After seeing those escape room movies, my anxiety grew high. Imagine not being able to escape from an escape room in real life. That would be terrifying. When we got to the destination, Russ parked and turned the car off. Anna, La, and Jerome rode with us while Brian and Jazmine rode with Derek and Jhené. We got out of the car, and the others walked over to us after getting out of their rental car.

"Y'all ready?" Russ asked us while smirking. I glanced at him before rolling my eyes slightly.

"You know I'm not ready." He wrapped his arm around my shoulders.

"Stop being so scary. It's just an escape room. None of this is real." He looked at me and laughed.

"Sometimes you can't be too sure. People are crazy," I say.

"She is right about that." Jazmine chimes in.

"Man, don't tell me y'all scared to go in an escape room. There ain't nothing scary about it." Jerome spoke up, causing me to smack my lips at him.

"Well, if you're so bold, how about you go in there by yourself Mr. I got the balls to do any and everything," La spoke while crossing her arms across her chest. I shook my head at them while chuckling.

"I'm not scared of shit. I could go in there by myself if I wanted to." He clapped back.

"Okay, then go since you're so brave."

"I said if I wanted to, and I don't want to."

"Naw. You said you weren't scared. Don't try to back down now. GO." We all laughed at these two going back and forth.

"Alright, guys. Let's calm down. I don't want you two running up your blood pressure." I joked.

"Oh, go to hell, Ci." La pushed me playfully.

"Alright now. Don't be pushing my baby." Russ told her.

"Well, your baby needs to stop playing with me." He laughed at her response.

"Enough of this. Let's go inside," I say.

We walked into the building and were greeted by the workers. After paying, they let us through. When we walked through the doors, we were standing in a dark room, except for one single light in the center of the room. We looked at each other in suspicion. Russ rubbed the back of his neck while chuckling nervously as I side-eyed him. Derek cleared his throat, getting everyone's attention.
