Ciara
Four days passed since the incident in the elevator with Ashley. I don't know what the hell her problem is. I said I wasn't going to let it get to me, but I need to know if there's any truth to what she said. Right now, I'm going to put it to the side because my wedding dress designer is meeting up with me at my place to show me how the dresses turned out. I drew out some designs for him for the wedding dress and the bridesmaid dresses a month ago, and he started working on them right away. His work is top-notch. So I'm sure they came out excellent.

I had another thirty minutes before he was coming at 1. I made sure it was comfortable in the living room area by lighting a few candles and adding some more pillows to the couch for extra cushion. Then, I walked over to the windows to open the curtains so the sun could shine through. After I finished, I went to the kitchen to take the cookies out of the oven. I made strawberry cheesecake cookies topped with white chocolate chips. They were one of my favorites using my special recipe. I also made cream cheese swirl brownies. This is just my way of welcoming him to my home and thanking him. Even though I already blessed him with a lump sum of money.

One o'clock rolled around, and I heard a knock on the door. I got up and opened the door to see him. We shared a warm smile and greeted each other.

"Hi, Robert! I'm glad you could meet up with me today. I've been dying to see the dresses." I reached in for a hug, and he hugged me back. We pulled away from each other afterwards.

"Hi! I'm glad I could make it, too. I couldn't wait to show you the dresses. I worked day and night on these pieces, but it was definitely worth it." I let out a light squeal of excitement and clasped my hands together in front of me.

"Well, come on inside. I made desserts and coffee if you would like some." He stepped inside, and I closed the door behind him.

"That sounds good! I'm sure they taste amazing." He follows me into the living room.

"Of course, they do because I made them," I said cockily. He lets out a laugh as he sits down on the couch. Laying the dresses out in the center of it.

"Ooooh! It smells great in here. It's so cozy." He says while looking around the living room.

"Thank you, Robert. I tried." We both laughed.

"Is there anything I can get you to drink? Coffee, water?"

"I'll take some coffee. I'm going to need it to keep up with the busy day I'm having." He chuckled.

"Okay. I'll be back in a second." I went into the kitchen to pour two cups of coffee before sitting his down in front of him.

"I'm going to bring some desserts out for us. I'll be right back."

"Okay. Take your time, sweetheart." He waved me off.

After I brought the desserts out I sat them at the center of the table along with some napkins. I took a seat on the couch, leaving a little space between us. He took a sip of his coffee before setting his cup down.

"I know you're ready to see the dresses. So let's get straight to it."

"Yaaay!" I was damn near on the edge of my seat with happiness. I still couldn't believe this was happening for me. He grabbed the dress from the top of the stack and stood up.

"This right here is your wedding dress. I hope you love it as much as I do." He unzipped the plastic cover from the dress, and my mouth dropped from how beautiful it was. It came out better than I imagined.
