Today, I stayed back at home from work because Ci and I needed to go over a few things for our wedding next month. Our wedding is on July the sixth. So it's coming up soon. We have to meet up with our wedding planner in five days to check out the venue. We've seen it in pictures, but we haven't got to check it out in person yet. So it's a bit last minute, but it's getting done. Ci's on her way to my place right now. She had to meet Zahir's dad so she could drop him off to him this afternoon. In the meantime, I was just watching TV to pass the time.

An hour or so passed, and I heard keys jiggling at the door. A few seconds later, the door opened and, she walked to the living room.

"Hey, baby." She walks over to the couch and leans down to kiss me. She takes a seat next to me, and I grab the remote to turn the TV off.

"Hey. You didn't have any trouble, did you?"

"Nope. Everything went smoothly."

"That's good. That's all that matters." I grabbed her hand into mine and pulled it up to my lips to kiss the back of it.

"So...a little less than three weeks. Are you ready?" I ask her.

"I am. It's still surreal. I've never been happier, though." She leans over and kisses my lips gently.

"Me either. These three weeks aren't going by fast enough for me." We shared a laugh as she rested her head on my shoulder. I kissed her forehead. Some time passed by, and we began discussing our wedding.

"Wednesday morning we have to fly out to meet with Jessica so she can show us the wedding venue. The pictures she showed us were beautiful, but I'm sure the place is even more beautiful in person."

"I hope so. I want everything to be perfect for you, and I don't want you to be stressed out about anything." She chuckled.

"It's too late for me to not be stressed. Trying to go to movie rehearsals, work on designs, meetings, and everything else, all while taking care of Zahir is stressful itself. Then to add on wedding planning..." She shook her head.

"Well, I don't want you to stress anymore. I'm sure everything will be fine. Once we go see the venue and have our wedding rehearsal, things will be easier. You got the dresses, and they came out exactly how you wanted them to. The girls fit into them perfectly. That's one thing that can be checked off the list for sure." I tell her. She lets out a light sigh before smiling softly.

"Yeah. I guess the excitement is just causing me to overthink."

"Well, you need to sit back and relax for a moment. Everything will be fine." I reassured her.

"Okay."

"Okay, so we're meeting with the wedding planner next week on Wednesday. The wedding rehearsal is supposed to be on Saturday. They're going to have to catch a flight out there. I'm trying to figure out how this is going to work. The wedding is in Cheshire, England. We have family and friends spread out in Atlanta, Seattle, and Los Angeles." She says. I rub the bottom of my chin in thought.

"That's a lot of back and forward flights for us, too. It takes a while to get from LA to England. We're gonna have to catch a flight in the evening or night so we can meet her on time."

"Or we could just fly out Tuesday morning so we're not rushing. That way we can get a good night's sleep, too." She says. I nod my head.

"That sounds more rational."

"Instead of catching a flight back to LA, it would be easier to stay there since our rehearsal is that Saturday. Maybe we can just tour the city with all the spare time we'll have." She suggests.
