Russell
She's so fucking beautiful. Her long black hair flowed down her back and over her shoulders. Her perfectly sculpted cheekbones. God, they were perfect. The way the sun glistened on her radiant, brown skin. Her sense of humor and her warming smile. That cute little laugh she had every time she found something amusing. Those pretty brown eyes stood out like a bright star high up in the night sky. Most importantly, her loving and caring personality. The way she treated Gracie and Nora was no different than the way she treated her very own child. She has also grown into a true friend of mine, and she's everything someone could ask for in a woman. That's a plus. When God created her, he did not create her perfect. Everyone has their very own flaws, but at the end of the day, she was a beautiful soul with a big heart. If I had a chance with her, I'd never trade her for anyone else in the world.

"Russ! Helloooo!" She waved her hand in my face as she tilted her head to the side.

"Yes?" I snapped out of my thoughts. She giggled. Just looking at her was unreal. It was like she wasn't real. She was like some imaginary goddess from a fairytale. Was she really right there in eyes view?

"I've been calling your name for the past few minutes. Tell me, what's got you daydreaming so hard?"

"You," I spoke smoothly. She looked down at her hands which rested in her lap.

"Why?" She averted her attention from her lap and back to me. A look of wonder was written across her face. She crossed her legs, and I couldn't help but stare at them. They looked so smooth. I licked the corner of my lip, looking into her brown eyes afterwards.

"What do you mean why?" I tilted my head to the side in confusion.

"I've called your name five times. You were in your own world over there. What is it about little ol' me that has you so struck and stuck? I wanna know." She rested her head on the palm of her hand as she switched positions, laying on her side in the lounge chair. I sat up and cleared my throat before speaking.

"First, I have to say your endless beauty not only on the outside but the inside as well. That's really important to me in a woman. You're beyond gorgeous. One of the most beautiful women I've ever laid eyes on. But what's on the inside is the best. That's number two. True beauty only comes skin deep. It runs through the blood of your veins, and it shows through your incredibly big, hollow heart. Third, you have a contagious smile. I don't know if anyone has ever told you that, but it's true. Your smile can make someone's day, girl. Especially mines. Whenever you walk into a room full of people, your smile spreads like some sort of disease. A good one, though." She laughed at my words, but I knew she was blushing on the inside.

"It runs through the blood of your veins, and it shows through your incredibly big, hollow heart. I didn't know you were a poet." She took a sip from her glass of lemonade before laughing.

"You're laughing now. Yeah, I know a little something about poetry." I joked as I rubbed my hands together.

"Oh my gosh, stop!" She burst out laughing again. God, I love that laugh.

"You're too much."

"You may be laughing now, but I bet nobody ain't ever told you anything like that." My tone was more serious than before. Her laughing ceased.

"I'm never too much for you. I'm serious. Overall,  you're just an  all-in-all phenomenal woman." She sat her drink down on the glass table next to her.
