TRAINER
I can't feel my body. Are my body parts even still attached ? My consciousness is here, I'm talking to myself. Slowly I started to regain back my nerve impulses and senses in which I started to be able to feel once more.
What is this heat ? It feels like a burning sensation scorching through my skin feeling like I'm roasted alive. I want to see, but I can feel my eyes resisted to open. It feels heavy, even the slightest flinch doesn't feel like it's helping.
All I see is endless darkness as they stared back deep into my soul.
FLETCH~
FLETCH~Is that the sound of a pokemon ? Sounded similar to a fletchling, but it's slightly different. But nobody in our place has a fletchling as a pokemon. I must've been in a place I'm not familiar with.
I woke up finding myself laying down on a sand with half wet clothing. To my shock I'm suddenly in an island I've never seen before.
Sun burns right through my retina as the heat of the noon sears my skin. It was immeasurably hot. I tried standing up but I fall kneeling down on the sand. My entire body feels pain especially my right knee cap. Did something happen ? I don't remember being injured like this.
I tried forcing myself but to no avail. My injuries proved to be too much for me to handle right now. But I can't stay right underneath this sun, it's going to burn the hell out of me. At least I need to get to some shades.
This is an island with a visible forest in the middle. I suppose I could crawl right under a single tree to at least give me some protection against the sun.
I jolted my head upwards and raises my hand grabbing the sand and tried my hardest to get under the tree. However, I witness something horrible. It was too horrifying for me as I started to doubt that I'm in a reality.
'This....this must be a dream...'
They are here....With me.
My pokemons are nearby, lying on the ground looking weak and frail. Though it doesn't look like they were in a fight. Something is not right but it's not the perfect time to examine them.
I need, to get back up.
Suddenly, my body filled with adrenaline as a reaction to witnessing my pokemons being injured. My pain was suppressed and I lifted myself up quickly. I clumsily rushed to their presence and begin to examine their conditions.
I sighed with relief
'For some reason they look really messy but they are actually quite okay....strangely. Did somebody heal them right after they fainted ?'
Still, they are obviously suffering from a fever or some sort. Leaving them under the sun like that would most likely raises the body heat. There's a possibility for a heat stroke. Getting something to cool them down would be a great idea right now.
Having no knowledge to my current predicament I can't say I know what I'm talking about but finding out that they are fine means the world to me. Still, whoever saved them owe my thanks. As much as I want to continue checking their condition this isn't the right time nor the right place for it.
Thankfully their pokeballs are with me still. Letting them rest inside should be the right move. Alright, you guys should get some rest in here. That should settles one less problem. Now....
'What am I supposed to do here ?'
The island isn't empty by any means. The forest is like mere meters away from this sandy beach, yet I felt heavy. Not because of fatigue, well maybe some of it, but mostly due to my initial intuition telling me to not venture inside.
