NARRATOR
Charm, a move to distract and open up holes that lies in the defence of their opponent. In a battle, said move only lasts for a couple of turns albeit sometimes it's more than enough. It's a harmless move is it not ?
By this logic, one would think the result would turned out to be the same for every other entity as well. Unfortunately for Trainer, even before he was charmed his mental health was declining.
Accumulation of constant stress, self provocation and blaming himself causes him to fall into a state full of sorrow. Feel of the weight he had to endure eventually proves too much for him, making him fragile inside. But the result of mind breaking somebody who's already on the verge of breaking...
It's what Espeon is currently dealing with.
Espeon was certain by her nature to read emotions that the trainer is fine, only slightly having trouble keeping the sadness that he feels. Little did she know that the Trainer's mind was barely holding on. The only reason why she didn't pick up on his struggle is only due to his ability to hide his stress under the presence of his pokemon.
Espeon however have little to no time to even think about such possibilities currently.
She's stuck under his arm, close to his chest locking her in position. She struggled to get out of his embrace but she was already weakened as the glows of the misty night saps her strength. Finding that her endeavor ended up in nought, Espeon glances at the Trainer.
She notices he's not moving. The only sign of movement is his warm breath that ended up heating her chest as his nose dives inside her fur. Espeon is confused. She knew it was wrong, this was not the trainer. This is the last bit remains of the charm that once affected this mind.
He's not moving by his own consent.
However Espeon couldn't distance herself from him, instead it almost felt like she was getting absorbed into his embrace millimeter by millimeter, second by every second. What is this feeling that Espeon wonders as it continues to intensifies. Her reluctants slowly turns into acceptance, gripping the sleeves of the trainer even tighter then before.
Suddenly he calls for her, with a slight hint of hesitation in his words. Almost as if he's sad.
'Espeon ?.....'
With a chest that almost felt like bursting her confused mind is overloaded with her thoughts and questions. In addition she's feeling something that she had never felt before, the one that inlaid the heart with warmth. "Is this what Vaporeon feels like ?" she wonders.
Disturbance inside her head greatly affects the state of her telepathic ability, to the point where she failed to relay her thoughts into the trainer. She knew that it missed, but there's nothing she could do. All she can do is to succumb to the trainer.
Pant...
Pant...Is it intentional, or is it involuntary ? Her breathing paced faster, her limbs stopped resisting, her wagging tail stopped. Both of them became silent as only the sound of the wind and the voice of their breath can be heard. The Espeon knows it was a wrong action. If what she theorizes is correct, then she would experience the exact same scene as Vaporeon did.
It's wrong isn't it ?
Though under all her guilt there lies a little bit of pleasure, the sign of agreement that she had wanted. After all, this same affection is coming from someone that he adored. Someone that once saved her from her painful life. It's undeniable that the result would end up the same as Vaporeon. She would be happy but if that's the case, then what would happen to him ?
