XI : Temporary Shelter

I can't imagine what devil's luck I had acquired that would cost me in the future. Or perhaps it wasn't a fortunate event to begin with but rather I'm getting lured into a trap by the Mewtwo. For my logical thinking that seems to be the most reasonable answer there is. What else can the possibility be ?

My thoughts couldn't get any satisfying answer, being sent to a mysterious island, having all three of my Pokemons be sick without having any medical supplies and then by complete chance I encountered Mewtwo. A Pokemon so powerful it could kill me with a single thought. But then out of nowhere Mewtwo proposed to me that it can help to heal my Pokemons along with giving me a place to stay. Sounded like a wonderful offer is it not ? 

But that's the problem, It's too good to be true...

I can't help but to be doubtful, whether I want to accept Mewtwo's offer or not is something I can't do on a whim. I need some time to think about it, though it's pretty much pointless. Even if I do reject it then I would've need to survive in this island. Of course that sounded close to impossible.

The only way I see myself getting out of this situation is for me to just play along with what Mewtwo had in mind. That catastrophe from decades ago by an artificial Pokemon marks a scary history in the record. Mewtwo becomes a known name amongst the people as a Pokemon that's highly dangerous. 

Mewtwo hated humans, at least from what I was told. This event just destroys whatever I used to believed. Should I be concerned about this whole situation ? Just like Espeon, Mewtwo is an esper that could interpret my mind and thoughts. Lying would most likely not work with it and I wouldn't dare to enrage something like that.

In the end I accepted what Mewtwo had offered without realizing it and ended up staying inside the house. Keeping its' part of the deal Mewtwo uses a never before seen machine structure that connects several IV tubing-like cylinder to the three of my Pokemons. It claimed that they are fine as their conditions right now becomes much more stable than usual.

'It will take them three days to recover at most. You can rest easy until that day.'

The day went by slowly though living in an island means there's nothing making any noise aside from the sound of Wild Pokemons on the outside. It feels rather calming...

At least it would if it wouldn't for the fact that Mewtwo is constantly following me around the house. I tried to let it to whatever it wanted but nevertheless I can never get used to having something like a Mewtwo following me around. Especially since it's obviously observing me in detail. Whatever I'm doing, even as simple act as walking it never blinked trying to see what I do.

Not trying to be rude, but is it weird if I admit that Mewtwo seemed like its very familiar to what I'm doing ? Like....a stalker ? It had no trouble keeping up with me and while I expect Pokemon like Mewtwo aren't really the type to know about human, Mewtwo acted like its used to seeing me do these kinds of stuff everyday. Though, I would really not rather just have it roam around the house with me without striking a single conversation. This awkwardness would kill me if I don't do something.

'Hey, uh Mewtwo ?'

'Yes ?'

'Just wondering, do you know what time is it ?'

'I'm sure there's a clock in the kitchen.'

Wow, this house even has a kitchen ? I mean it is a house, obviously, but Mewtwo admitted that it made it all by itself. How does Mewtwo know the living conditions of a human ? I'm quite sure Pokemon wouldn't need the presence of a kitchen, actually they wouldn't even need a house right ? This house is built with an expectation that a human would someday live here. Now I'm getting quite intimidated, anyway let's just check out the kitchen for now.
