NARRATOR
Throughout his walk from the hill to his home, he chats with Espeon. Trainer had always disliked having an empty talk with others. He wants a topic that is meaningful and one that he finds intriguing, something that opens up the discussion to either learn about facts or learn about the other person, however perhaps since it's because he's talking with Espeon, every single time they speak, no matter how pointless the topic is, he finds it to be delightful.
His legs feel light. The way he walks, his arm slowly flailing back, and his occasional stare into the sky, having an empty mind without any worries, feel out of the world for him. Of course, nobody can change in a single day, and he knows it better than anybody else. There is a slight hint of his regret that lingers even now, but knowing everything has been hard for the others, he simply chooses to ignore it and prefers to spend his time with the ones he cherishes. After everything that had happened, he couldn't stay as he once was. No matter how minor a progression is, it remains progress.
When he arrives at the house, he quickly becomes the primary attention. No words can express his happiness when he sees his Vaporeon and Decidueye waiting at the main entrance. However, right beside them is also someone fresh inside his memory.
It's the Mewtwo.
Espeon had mentioned it a couple of times about Mewtwo before they arrived at the house. She warned him that he should be prepared to face Mewtwo again, but she came to apologize this time. Seeing how she had settled inside the house, she must've already met with Decidueye and Vaporeon.
After a brief greeting, Espeon eventually decides to tell them everything. They all gather in the living room, and Espeon becomes the narrator. She first carefully explains everything to Vaporeon and Decidueye, trying not to miss a detail to raise further confusion. Both of them become extremely surprised listening to her story. It is hard to believe for them. A couple of days were spent without memories, and to add that, Trainer fell into an unknown illness.
'How is that even possible? I thought amnesia goes away after a couple of minutes?' Vaporeon is asking for clarification.
'Honestly, I'm surprised as well. But considering how strong Mewtwo is, she might've been able to maximize psychic energy to the extent until the move itself evolves to a different degree.'
'Aww, so you're saying when everything is happening. We weren't able to help at all? '
'Heh, you know, I was just about to get to that part.'
'Eh?'
Espeon tells them about when they first met with Mewtwo and what happened there. Trainer falls sick, and Decidueye becomes the first to attempt to save him. Hearing that, they helped eases out Vaporeon and Decidueye. There is some hint of pride inside them, but they can only hold it in until they turn red quickly when Espeon says that they were the heroes for helping save Trainer when he was ill.
Vaporeon's face glows, but she looks visibly happy. However, looking at Decidueye, she can't help but hide her face under her wings. As Espeon gets into the details further, it only amplifies their intensity more and more. Before she can finish, Decidueye faces away from them, but no matter how hard she hides her face, it's only apparent for all of them to view. They all laugh, especially when they see Decidueye turning her entire body away from them.
Vaporeon laughs whilst saying...
'You should see your face, Decidueye!'
'Sh-... Shut up! What happened to that serious Vaporeon from before?'
'Hehe, did you hear what Espeon said just now? I didn't know you were such a cool bird. Trainer must've been so proud.'
'Eh? What did I say?'
