NARRATOR
The dark sky above flashed by the roar of the thunder that shows its glimpse as the frequency viciously soar. Harsh wind continuously blows the empty plain field only crashing against the lone house. It looked like the sky is about to burst into tears, is this a sign of an ill-omen ?
Panic filled the lone house as the three pokemons wondering what's their next step would be in aiding the Trainer. The Trainer rests on his bed where Decidueye had put him. He is conscious, they know he's still there, but he isn't responding to any of them. Everytime they throw out their words of anxiety they only met with more dreadful thoughts the moment they knew their Trainer isn't replying.
Vaporeon asked with a shaky voice
'Wh-....What do we do ?!'
'Calm down, I'm thinking about it....' Espeon responded.
Decidueye stares at both of the Eeveelutions when both of them are in despair. Even she doesn't know what is going on with the Trainer. He rarely ever gets sick. But this time it's different from the usual fever.
His body is so abnormally hot that maybe even a Charmander would get a knee-jerk when they touches his body. What would happen to a human body resisting such a heat ? Won't it damage his body ?
Then Decidueye dived into deep, horrifying thoughts. Is it a critical sickness ? Or he might've only gotten just a minor one. She had heard it from before that humans usually get sick when they are close to dying. If that's the case, doesn't this also applies to him ? Then.....
Does that mean he would soon be dead ?
Decidueye hold her head trying to snap herself back. Feeding herself dreadful thoughts such as that is unwise. Her eyes wide open, and she keeps shaking her head. Luckily for her Espeon and Vaporeon didn't notice her.
How could that possibly be the case ? Those pokemons suddenly shrouds themselves in guilt. However their guilt only comes because of their ultimate pure affection towards the Trainer that had blinded them the wrong way. They blamed themselves for what had happened rather than just thinking it was the external factors. Had them control their emotion they would realize, but now all they wonder is what can they do better ?
The Trainer has been by their side for a long time, years even. Whenever they are fallen during combat, sick to their core during an exploration or inflicted a critical injuries, the Trainer knew exactly what to do. He always had that aptitude to analyze the situation perfectly and initiate unnecessary action flawlessly.
He showed it from before as well.
If it's not because of his body shielding Decidueye from Stone Edge, she would've probably drop dead getting her chest pierced through by a giant piece of rock. That however were just one of the few tens or even hundred times where he saved a life. Now all of a sudden he got a sickness that are abnormal to the point where it might be even life threatening. No human should be able to withstand that right ?
A single life, right in front of the Pokemons, yet none of them knows what to do.
All three of them combined, clueless.
All three of them, panicked.
Three of them, despaired.Espeon the great leader of the group usually would come up with a solution on the spot. After all, out of the three of them, the Esper would most likely have the highest mental capacity. She would most definitely be able to handle such situation.
But tonight she's different.
The toll that weighs on her sets her back albeit she doesn't realize it. From the beginning she stayed up late, filled the thoughts that made her concerned about the Trainer. Espeon followed him, and then guarded him when he slept under the tree on the hill. All of that work, whilst she only had gotten a minimal rest, not to mention she also had to cover up for her team's mistake most of the time.
