Mina stares at herself in the mirror.

She fumbles for the concealer in her bag to cover the darkness under her eyes. It fails to hide her swollen and puffy face.

She leaves the locker room and frowns at the empty space across the door.

After practice, Mina used to exit the locker room and expect a smiling Nayeon waiting for her but she has grown used to the lonely walk to class.

It's been almost 3 weeks since Nayeon unexpectedly cut Mina out of her life.

---

"Talk to Mina" Momo commands Nayeon

"I can't"

"What do you mean you can't? I know you want to. I can tell you miss her Nayeon"

Nayeon's health and grades have declined concerning amounts to the point that she got pulled into the school office where she received a warning to get her grades up or else she would lose her scholarship.

Which didn't matter to her since Jeongyeon was paying her school dues anyways.

Nayeon didn't realize how much she needed Mina. She was the angel who had started to heal her broken life, yet she pushed her away and left her trashy life worse than before.

"You wouldn't understand Momo"

Nayeon is frightened at the thought of her and Jeongyeon's deal ever getting out. The hate would be unbearable for her.

She refuses to think about people judging her for using Jeongyeon for her money.

"You have to talk to Mina. I don't care you're doing it. You don't have to explain yourself to me but you need to explain yourself to her.

Do you remember our agreement for telling you where the ballet hall is?"

Nayeon nearly chokes up. She completely forgot she told Momo she would do anything for the info.

She never thought Momo would make her reconcile with Mina.

"Momo please..."

"You'll thank me later"

Momo winks at Nayeon and exits.

---

"Nayeon you're assigned to ballet"

The sports medicine teacher is listing out the new spring trainee assignments. Each trainee gets assigned to a sport to take care of for the rest of the spring semester, they sit in at every event and training.

'You've got to be joking'

Nayeon splashes her face with water and grips onto the sink knowing there's no way for her to avoid Mina now.

She was successful in walking slower or faster to avoid Mina since she memorized the girl's schedule and knows very well how Mina paces her walking to each class.

Nayeon heads to ballet hall to start her new assignment.

"Annyeonghasyeo~ Im Nayeon at your service"

Nayeon comes up from her bow and faces the dancers with a bright toothy smile.

"She's so pretty"

"I've never seen her so up close"

"Maybe she can sing or dance for us"

They all fawn over the new presence with giggles and whispers. Except for one girl.

Nayeon's smile fades when she makes eye contact with the prettiest girl in the room in her eyes.

Golden locks whip back as Mina abruptly turns her back on Nayeon to go backstage to stretch.
