Nayeon's POV
"What?"
My world had completely turned upside down and I felt my walls start to crumble. I needed to stay strong for Mina but these past months in hiding have already been torture.
"I hate it Nayeon" she continued to wail
"Minaya..." I'm at a loss for words.
"I'm sorry, I am so sorry" she placed shaking hands on my cheeks
My heart tore apart watching her once perfect makeup become stained and ruined with tears caused by the greediness of the company.
"Shh, nothing is your fault" my arms swallow her into my chest wishing I could just keep her there, away from this cursed world
"I love you Nayeon, always"
I kissed her forehead and we stayed in each other's arms.

I'm going insane. Where is she? It's 3 am and Mina has returned any calls or texts. I take another shot.
These past few days Mina has been distant. There is growing space between us and we can never find the chance to close it. Why? Because she is always out. Out with her coworkers, her company, and her new boyfriend.
They dropped an article last week fabricating the relationship. Mina didn't tell me many details nor warned me. I found out myself through a patient. A 10-year-old to be exact. A kid knew about my lover's new boyfriend before me.
They said no relationship talk because of a scandal yet they're creating a scandal themselves. Pssh. Some company. I take another shot.
I'm waiting here until I can kiss her goodnight. And that's that.
[2 hours later]
"Yahh~!"
I wake up with my head groggy and spinning. Maybe I took one too many shots. I give the pretty girl in front of me a goofy smile as I reach for my shot glass that has a bit of liquor still in it.
"Nayeon! What's wrong with you!"
"Aishh, Why are yelling at me???" I retaliate
"Why did you drink? You have work tomorrow. You should be in bed."
"Why? Why me? Why you!" I slur my words
"What?" the blonde chick yells in confusion
"Where have you been?"
"I was out for work like always love why?"
"Puh-lease." I slam my fist onto the counter
"You expect me to believe that lie!" I roll my head to face her, my vision is completely blurred
"Lie? Why would I be lying?"
"Who were you with."
"Soo-Hyun, but--"
"You cheater!!"
Finally, the swirls that I saw came to still and I watched Mina's frozen distraught face. She looks like she's just been betrayed.
"What did you just call me?" she gasps
"You heard me" I groggily nod my head
"Seriously Nayeon? Do you really think I would cheat on you? You don't trust me?"
I just look at her. No response. Despite the heat and alcohol coursing through my body I don't miss the tear that slips down Mina's face.
"I should have just stayed at the company if I knew you were going to be like this"
