Yuichiro pov

It's tiring. It's tiring waking up and having to kill people every morning. I wish I had a normal job like a McDonald's employee or a shop clerk. But, no, I have to be an assassin. Its either they kill me for quiting or I kill myself. I grip the the knife in my pocket tighter as I walk down the busy streets. I know I have a duty to fulfill as an older brother and an uncle. Bur I just can't. I'm not worthy of being Senjuro's boyfriend either. So today I will spend my last day with them and then once the sun sets I'll fall off the tallest bridge in the city. I'll head to Muichiro's house now, he recently got an apartment with Genya and his child. It's just down the block I should be able to get there quickly. I walk quickly down the street, I want to see them now. I get to their apartment complex and walk up the outside stairs to the third floor. Today, I'll try to feel happiness, I'll try to seem like the best brother to Muichiro, the best uncle to Souta, and the best boyfriend to Senjuro. I knock on the apartment door and hear footsteps coming towards me. The door opens and I see Genya stare down at me. "Muichiro, your brother is here!" He calls into the house. "Uncle Yui!" Souta shouts, running to give me a hug. "Hi Souta! How's is my nephew doing?" I ask, picking him up and hugging him. "Good, I got a girlfriend in school!" He says, acting confident. "Of course you do." I chuckle, setting him down. "Hi, Yui!" Muichiro says, hugging me. "Hello, Mui." I say, resting my head on his shoulder. "It's good to see you, Yui. But, why are you here? You never visit." Muichiro says. "Why wouldn't I want to come see my favorite people in the world!" I say, brushing off his comment. "Did we tell you Senjuro also moved in with us? He needed to get away from his father." Muichiro says as I take my shoes off. "Really? Where is he?" I ask, getting excited to see him. "He had a night shift at the hospital but he should be back soon." Muichiro says, going back to the living room. I sit down on the left side of the couch and wait for Senjuro to get here.

"I'm home." I here Senjuro from the door say. He walks into the living room and makes eye contact with me. I smile at him and he smiles back. He runs over to hug me as I hold my arms out. "I missed you Yuichiro! It's been too long!" He says, kissing my cheek. "It has." I say, smiling warmly to him. He snuggles into my arms and falls asleep. I now know that he definitely had a night shift. I wrap my arms around his back to make sure he doesn't fall. "So, why'd you come over?" Genya asks. "I already told you, I want to spend the day with people I love." I say. "Mhm.." Genya hums, going into the kitchen with Muichiro. I hold Senjuro in my arms. It's nice, I haven't seen him in a while. So I finally get to hold him again. I rest my head on his head. It's so great that I can do this with someone. He doesn't judge me, he's always there for me, and he loves me. I'm sad to live him but I just can't stay here any longer. Being with my family makes me hurt more. It brings me pain and suffering see that they're happier than me. Senjuro wakes up a little and looks me in the eyes. "I love you." He says, putting his head back on my chest. He stares into the kitchen at Genya and Muichiro. "Look how cute they are! They have to be one of the best couples." Senjuro says. I feel something boil in me. Like, I'm about to pop. "That's it, I've had it! I can't do it anymore! I've been living in this insufferable life for to long and I'm ending it today!" I yell, running out the door. "What?! Yui, wait!" Senjuro calls out, chasing after me.

Senjuro pov

"Yui, wait!" I call out, running out the door after him. He was going to the bridge. He was planning to kill himself. "Yui, don't do it!" I yell, still racing after him. "It's what I have to do! To have a happy life!" He calls back to me. "If you're dead, how are you going to see me?" I ask, as he starts to climb over the edge of the bridge. "I'll watch over you, Senjuro." He says, giving me a heart warming smile. "NO, You are going to stay with me whether you like it or not!" I yell, grabbing the back of his shirt and pulling him up. "Yui, you can't leave. Your family and me... we would regret everything. You need to stay. You gotta. You need to watch your brother get married and have a family. You have to Souta's uncle. You have to stay with me, get married, and start a family. I've already planned our future and I won't let you give it up so easily. So please, just stay with me." I say, hugging him. The silence is very loud for a few seconds before Yuichiro gives his answer.

"I will stay with you. I'll be there for my brother and my nephew. But I'll also be there for you. Anything you need I will help. I'll do anything for you. Just stay my boyfriend and help me through these times... please?" Yuichiro asks, grabbing my waist tighter. "Of course I'll help you, Yui. I'll always be here for you, never forget that, love." I say, kissing him.
