MY MAID AND I (Once upon an us)

Chapter 2

Sophie

I woke up a little too early so i headed for the
bathroom and in some 30 minutes i was done and i went downstairs to see mum making breakfast.

"Morning mum" i greeted while biting back the bile that rose in my throat as I called her 'mum' and she looked around and smiled.

"Morning dear"she said and i frowned but quickly covered it up but I'm sure she saw it.

"I'm making your favorite" she said and I nodded slowly

Nice choice....not

After breakfast, I said bye to Sarah and ran all the way to the cafe.

Its my turn to open the cafe  and if any of those two demons arrived before me, I get to work an additional 3 hours serving kids in the kids section of the cafe and kids be crazy sometimes.

I love kids but then...they can be crazy

Fortunately,I came first and opened the door breathing the  air of a new day.

"Sophie is not here. Hallelujah!!!"Liam yelled and turned to look at where i was standing with a scowl

"Yeah sure and the door's open" I said rather bored and he groaned before giving a forced smile to which I returned.

We're friends and all but we don't exactly do cute friendship. The three of us have our own problems so we became friends to share these problems.

"How is mum? I mean Sarah" he asked slowly

"She's fine" I dryly replied as I cleaned the counter

Sophie continued arranging the cups and stools in the cafe.

"Soph......is it necessary?" He asked with a slightly harsh tone making her stop what she was doing

"What?"she snapped and balled her hands into a fist, waiting for the right time to hit his nose.

"Your attitude,you should be nice to her...afterall she's your mum"he said with a scowl plastered on his face.

"I'm being nice and you know that we'll enough. Also she's not my mother" she dryly added.

"What was her response?" He asked

"None of your business Liam" Sophie snapped with a glare

. Zoey arrived very late today, her little brother was ill and all

The day went by so quickly and before they knew it,Thursday was here.

They closed very early so Sophie could pack her  things because a message was sent that she would be picked up on Friday

"Hello, who is this?"

"Oh am I speaking with Miss Sophie Williams?"

"Yes"

"Miss Sophie, we'll be coming to pick you up tomorrow, if that's okay with you?"

"Of course, of course, have a pleasant night rest"

Zoey picked the call for Sophie because can't be polite on a phone call.

"Sophie,you have to be careful" Sarah said and Sophie mockingly smiled

"I will remember that mother"Sophie replied and Zoey and Liam ran upstairs to help pack her things

Sophie

I was about heading upstairs "Sophie!wait"

Sarah  called and i halted with a frown which she definitely saw

"Here, you'll need this" she said and handed me masks and veils. "Sophie, i really wonder how you look without your masks" she said and I scoffed before moving close to her

"Know your place and don't overdo things...oh thanks for the masks mother"I said and went upstairs

Liam was always very lazy so he did only little of the packing and now he was asleep and drooling

" how cute" Zoey said and took a picture and I laughed a little while shaking my head  and jumped on my bed.

How nice would it be if Liam, 'every lady's dream guy' is seen drooling, he'd be so doomed but wait he looks even cuter
I might as well create a fan club for him if i post this so...no
"Goodnight zee"I muttered
"Sweet dreams baby" she said sleepily

Would i have sweet dreams really? I really doubt that, sweet dreams can't be for me
I chuckled lightly and slept off
