Chapter 27

Sophie's POV

I got home and met Lynn pacing back and forth. "Lynn? Is everything okay?" I asked slowly and she broke into tears, I moved forward to hug her "it's okay Lynn" I comforted her and after she calmed down. I got her water

"Is everything okay Lynn?" I asked in concern and she snifled before touching my head softly

"I'm so sorry Sophie, I trained him well I swear. He wasn't like that as a kid...where did I go wrong?" She said in tears as I wiped the tears away

"What are you talking about Lynn?" I asked and she sighed

"I heard that he...embarrassed you at school today" she said and sobbed again.

I was hurt sure but I never expected this reaction from her...Xander!!!

I hugged her again "I'm fine Lynn really. At least I'm not injured" I said softly and she sighed before looking at me.

"I know you've been through a lot, but you gotta show everyone you're more than they see. They see a mask and hooded girl,let them know you're more"she said and I smiled at her.

" I'm going to bed darling and I'm really sorry about Xander" she said smiling and I nodded

"He might actually like you, guys pick on girls they like" she smirked and I groaned making her giggle before heading to her room.

I sighed and sat down on the coach. Chase and the rest walked in "Hey baby" Rick slurred and I grimaced "you've been drinking?" I asked and he giggled making the others chuckle.

"You guys ain't drunk" I said and they shrugged

"We're good kids" Tina said and smirked making me roll my eyes.

"We're going to bed...but not now when Xander arrives" Chase announced and they were squishing me on the sofa. Except rick who literally passed out on the floor,  we were watching the news until the door opened and Xander walked in.

Suddenly I felt angry I went into the kitchen to get water to calm myself down. I was about walking back to the sofa when Xander blocked my path with a scowl on his face.

I ignored him and tried walking away but he grabbed my wrist roughly making me turn in anger. My hand collided with his cheek very hard. I almost flinched at the sound it made. His head tilted sideways due to the force of the slap. The rest were studying Xander and I

"You bastard!! You hate me so much and I've done nothing absolutely wrong to you. You treat me like I'm trash because of a fucking reason I don't even know. Your life is so perfect and you get what you want whenever you want. Forgetting that not everybody is Alexander Xavier the rich guy. I won't be anywhere near this place if I had a choice. You're rich? Good for you Xander but I suffer hard just to get money while you get it with ease. It's fine if you hate me but Lynn fucking cried because you made her sad by doing what you did back at school. Xander it's good that you hate me,I don't have any comments on that but making Lynn cry? Is it right to you? You bastard!!!!" I yelled in anger and frustration.

Xander's POV

I roughly grabbed her wrist and a slap followed. I was beyond shocked.

My cheek throbbed,the force was hard. As shocked as I as I couldn't get angry or give a rude comment.

I watched as she yelled all those words in anger and her voice broke every time she spoke. I don't bully her everyday but the days I do...its deep.

I watched as she cried,I couldn't see her face and that made me upset. I touched her face but she smacked my hand from her face.
