Alex sat right before Sierra as she racked through her drawer for a pen while avoiding eye contact, hiding her curious eyes behind her long eyelashes.

"Do you need help?" Alex offered as he watched her keenly, rummaging through her drawer.

"Let's just discuss why I'm here" he firmly said with raised eyebrows and a thin smile that almost looked like a grimace

She sighed in defeat before slowly looking up and forcing a polite smile as her eyes roamed the office, making her look like she was in a hurry

"Yes, to what do I owe this visit?"

"You sound formal today but you weren't like that the other night" Alex said while trying his best not to sound like he was complaining but it still came out that way

"It was a ball, I had drinks and that's all Mr Xavier" Sierra added with a tight lipped smile

"Whatever you say"

"Yes" Sierra huffed softly while passing him a glare and squeezing a piece of paper.

I didn't wanna be here.

Talking to Alex, looking at him, smiling and joking around with him.

He didn't remember me and I'm contented with that. Wanting him to remember me is being selfish and I wasn't going to let history repeat itself.

"I want you to be the official makeup artist for a few actors working for my company" He said with a tight smile

This is awkward as fuck but who cares? I just want him to leave my office, my company and my sight

"I'm not a makeup artist. I also don't need an extra source of income, as you can see I'm doing very well as an actress and a CEO so no thank you" I said while trying my best to calm my heart which was beating crazily.

It was all fun because there were chances of the ball man not being him but now that I know that was Alex....I don't feel good about it.

I don't want to have any business or strings attached to him.

Alex and I will always fall in love, even if we traveled back in time but this time.... I'm stopping it from happening.

"Just help us this once, Sierra"

"I strongly refuse Mr Xavier and please you can take your leave now. I have to be at a meeting now, have a nice day"

He rolled his eyes before standing up, slowly turning towards the door with a frown

"Do think about it. If you ever decide to work with me, I'm always a call away"

He passed a wink and walked out while harshly letting go off the glass door of my office.

I sighed before sitting at my desk and opening the general group for the company.

"What's their relationship?"

"They're probably dating."

"Really?"

"Duh,the ways of the Rich. You shouldn't be surprised when a star like our boss dates a multi billionaire like Alexander Xavier

I rolled my eyes before popping a candy into my mouth and closing my eyes, enjoying the silence and peace of the office
