Chapter 15: Not Interested

Sophie's POV

I listened attentively as Eva talked about Amanda and her affair with Xander.

She said it was sex based but who cares? I didn't give a fuck in the world

Middle finger to them both.

I was stressed, and here I was in my last period for the day.... Biology

My combination for Mondays sucked in all honesty, it was annoying

"The cytoplasm, nuclear membrane, cell wall..." The teacher paused and looked at me

"Help us out with two more Miss Williams" he said and I wanted to rip his head off his body that instant.

"Nucleolus and ribosomes" I said calmly and he nodded his head happily

"Smart of you" he complimented and I murmured "I ain't like your chicken brained students here"

I looked around and to my disappointment, Eva had Physics while I was stuck in this stupid class

"What's the full meaning of DNA? Anybody?" Mr....ummm George I think asked looking around the class

"Sophie? Help us out" he said confidently and I rolled my eyes

"Why do you think I know it" I said and he smiled saying he just knew. Creep

"Deoxyribonucleic acid" I voiced out and he clapped happily

Just get the damn class done with

The bell rung and I wanted to hug the bell if I could,just the right time

I happily skipped out of the class and made my way through the crowded hallway

"Sophie!" Someone yelled my name and I turned to see Eva

"Oh hey!! Going home yet?" I asked and she nodded

"See you tomorrow then,just wanted to say bye" she said and I smiled at her

Walking out of school was much more peaceful than I ever imagined. The cold breeze blew my hood off my head and I reached out for it and pulled it back on.

"I need to sleep" I said and sighed. 'Home' was a 25 minutes walk,15 minutes drive from school but judging by my pace. I had no idea how many minutes I would walk

30 minute later

I walked in and the bodyguards blocked my path asking to confirm if I lived in the building

"It's understandable that dark glasses match your dress code but I think you should be able to see through it!!!" I yelled at them and they smirked. How stupid of them

They asked for a card and I gave them and finally I was in my bed....dozing

I woke up and walked downstairs to meet Clara " have you rested enough Sophie dear?" She asked with concern and I nodded.

We were pretty much doing nothing,just random questions about school, but suddenly it was 6:20 pm and Xander's message popped in and she rolled her eyes at the phone

"Everything okay Clara?" I asked and she nodded and she showed me a message from Xander

I'll be home by 7, chicken pasta for dinner. LET THE NEW GIRL MAKE IT
