Xander's POV

I was pissed off. Who does he think he is!!!
Mum got engaged to him,believing dad was dead

But Colton and I knew the truth.

Colton hid him far away from us and he's probably torturing him, but there's nothing I can do about it

I was too weak, Black eagles was too broke to do anything

I was hopeless and helpless

Thinking about dad made me realize how useless a son I've always been

I walked towards the old library, Sophie was cleaning. I saw that she was busy
So I sat on a rocky surface,sighing and looking at the clouds

I had to protect Sophie from Rica, he was a beast and mum turned a blind eye to that dangerous attitude of his

Obviously not because of love,she liked him sure but it wasn't deep enough to be called love

"You good?" I heard Sophie ask from behind me. Without looking back I nodded

She sighed and sat beside me

"You know.......I think you shouldn't be sitting here looking gloomy" she said with a smile

"I can't help but wonder why my family is like this" I said, telling her how I truly felt

She remained silent, listening to me

"Colton is my biggest hater and enemy, Damon is just there managing his little company and then there's me.... A high schooler,also a gang leader. A broke one at that. My family is wealthy but Black eagles needs it's own wealth.

I've failed as a son and leader Sophie" I said,blinking back the tears threatening to fall

"You know.....you're in a much better situation. My mum is dead,dad is gone and my older brother also died long with them. Leaving me with my step mother" She said and I could swear she wanted to cry

"I'm......... sorry" I said ,looking at her fake smile

"I won't ask you to be happy and hopeful but I'll definitely tell you not to give up. Nobody cares about your struggles, they just want to see the results and that's what you'll give them" She said and I could see a side of her I'd never seen

"If you had a gang and you ran out of money ,what would you do?" I asked her the question bothering me

She smiled

"Rob a bank, threaten a person of authority in the country,get money and never do it again" She replied

"That seems like what a thief would do" I said making her chuckle darkly

"Thief? Sure but the purpose of stealing is to get enough money and make sure you never have to stoop so low and steal again" She said with a sad smile

I nodded my head,understanding her every word,movement and expression

That was the only way I could help Black eagles

She gasped slightly, standing up to her feet. I rose an eyebrow before seeing Rica walk towards us with a smirk

"a quien tenemos aqui?"
(Who do we have here?) Rica said,eyeing Sophie in interest

"Ella es mi sirvienta personal,alejate de Ella!!"
(She's my personal maid,stay away from her!!)

I growled at him,making him smirk

"Eres tan stupido"
(You're very stupid) he said with a scowl

He tsked and looked at Sophie with a smirk

"Ella es una flor bonita"
(She's a pretty flower" he said,lust swimming in his eyes

I need to puke!

"Ella necesita ser desplumada promto"
(She needs to be plucked soon )

Is  this guy serious right now!!!

Just one more word and I'll kill him

"voy a hacer el desplumado yo mismo. Ella es mi mujer. Quédate atrás!!!"
(I'll do the plucking myself. She's my woman. Stay back!!!)

I growled in anger. I don't think I've ever been this angry at him since mum got engaged to him

"Deja de hablar como si fuera una naranja!!!!"
(Stop talking about me like I'm an orange!!!) Sophie yelled out

I looked at her in shock

"You speak Spanish?" I asked softly and she nodded slowly

"Estupido" Rica said and walked away but not before giving Sophie a wink

"You didn't tell me he was disgusting" She bitterly said making me grit my teeth in anger

"Alex?" Sophie softly called out. I frowned

"Don't go near him okay?" I said more like commanded her

"As your leader, don't go near him if you don't want him dead" I darkly said and she nodded her head

I walked away not being able to control my anger and irritation

Why was I so upset?

He didn't even touch her and I was this upset

The thought of him touching or holding her made my blood boil

I'll get her out of his sight at all costs

I sighted mum and Rica passionately making out at the entrance of the dining hall

I wanted to grab a bowl from the dining hall so I walked towards them

They stopped. Mum avoiding my gaze,her cheeks bright red.

"Must be embarrassing being caught making out by your son right mum?" I sneered making her look at her nails in shame

"You disgust me" I said and shoved them both aside,walking into the hall

I grabbed the bowl and walked out

They kept staring at my retreating figure, I looked over my shoulder

"Go on. It's not a new scene to me" I said,adding to her   embarrassment

Sophie walked into the living room with a smile

"Tell me why you're so happy" I said with a smirk

It was like I had been charged, I instantly became happy

"We're robbing a bank,right?" She smiled gleefully

I rolled my eyes at her happy smile

"No, I chose another way" I said and she nodded firmly

"Send a text to the rest,let's meet " I told her and she rose an eyebrow

"Here?" She asked,unsure if it was a good idea.

"B.E mansion duhhhh" I said and walked towards the elevator

"Be  down in 10!!!" She yelled out making me smile

I made sure he had gone upstairs before I went to my room, calling Liam

"Hey" I said and Liam smiled warmly

"what's up?" He asked

"Xander plans on finding a secret about the minister,threaten him and get money from him" I said and he tapped his chin

"He told you that?" He asked and I smirked

"That's the best option, after he gets everything he needs from the minister. We kill the minister and then carry out our plan on Black Eagles" I said with a sly grin

Liam smiled and asked me to update him on the things happening

I smiled in satisfaction.
