Chapter 45

Xander's POV

I kept thinking about the tattoo but I soon  got tired so I decided to go downstairs and meet the guys

I saw Sophie sitting down uncomfortably on the sofa and the guys were staring intensely

"Uhhh am I missing  something?" I questioned earning a glare from Tina and Jess

"Sit" Chase said in frustration

I nodded and sat beside Sophie, I passed her a confused look to which she shrugged and faced them again

"So...how long have you known about her taking her mask off?" Tina started

I sighed

So this is what this is about

"Few days ago" I replied, obviously not in the mood

"Why did you show him your face?" Jess asked Sophie and she shrugged

"To avoid any drama during the dinner but unfortunately it didn't work" she ended with a glare at me, clearly displeased by my action earlier

"What? He started it" I defended

"Yes...but you don't shoot in a house...you go outside to shoot.... Anybody and I mean ANYBODY could have died and we'll be doomed" She yelled and flapped her hands in the air like a duck

" asides that maid " I  ended gulping

"I don't know why you couldn't be patient" She sighed and plopped her back onto the sofa

"What are you guys looking at?" I snapped at the guys smiling

"You guys are cute" Tina squealed

"Pfft! As if" Sophie retorted and I smiled slightly

"We'll be leaving nowwww.....we don't wanna ruin any couples stuff" Chase chirped in earning a scowl from me and a scoff from lady Sophie

"I've packed the body and it's on its way to the grave" he jokingly said and I just sighed sadly

They left with Sophie hugging Tina and Jess

She plopped down on the sofa and said no word

After few minutes of silence

"Let's go out tomorrow" She blurted out making me snap my head in her direction

"What?" I asked

"Let's go out...you know...grab a few cups of coffee...play at the park and all" she said in a very slow voice making it look like I was a baby

"Shut up..I understand"

"So it's a yes?" She asked, her eyes sparkling

"It's a date" I replied and stood up from the sofa

"Wha-- I never said it was a date.....you're changing my words you fool" she said making me laugh loudly

"Grab your date gown and heels tonight before going to bed...tomorrow's gonna be a hot dinner date" I joked

"Ugghhh....just leave" she said and cracked a laugh

I shook my head before saying goodnight

She said goodnight and as usual climbed the annoyingly long stairs

I smiled at her retreating figure before shaking my head in amusement
