Chapter 56- He is different

Another week had begun and my guilt about Jane's death was still very intact but i had  to focus t school.

I woke up very early today. Maybe because it was a Monday morning i tend to appear very focused and serious on Mondays

I rushed over to Xander's door, without knocking I entered.

"Hey!!!! I'm naked!!!" He screeched and I rolled my eyes, he was fully clothed and styling his hair with gel.

"You might want to hurry up yk" I snapped impatiently causing him to chuckle.

"Hold up Disney" he said and inched closer to me suddenly

I stepped back a bit as he pulled something off my hair, with a smile he rose up a cookie crumb like substance from my hair

"That was so small, how could you even see it? Unless you were checking me out" I teased and he scoffed

"You're not my type Disney" He snapped rudely

Ouch!

We headed downstairs and he scanned the room and compound.

"How do you get all these done in two hours?" He asked and I shrugged, before  striding across the room and walking out.

I was at my locker with Eva and we were currently listening attentively to the information blasting out of the school speakers from the media office

Groans, murmurings and curse words flew across the hallway after the news ended.

"I hate this" Eva groaned and slammed her fist against the locker. I eyed her in irritation as my locker had a little dent

"Eating rocks now are we Eva?" I asked jokingly at how hard she hit the locker

"You don't understand how much I hate Talent week" She said angrily and I smiled

"Tell me about it"

"Okay so it's a week where students are placed in talent groups.  Last time I was in the cooking group. The lab doesn't exist anymore" she said with a reminiscent sigh

"Why?" I eyed her in suspicion and she shyly responded

"It caught fire.....I burnt a meal and boom!!" She dramatically explained and I facepalmed

"So.....I'll be in one group?" That seemed easy to me

"No. Probably 5" she said and groaned again.

"You can be added to more than one group" she said and sighed again before we headed off  to the class

It was a general class so the class will be filled up soo enough

"Evangeline Nott?" Mr Robert called out and I looked at Eva's face. She looked minutes about to puke.

"Cooking and baking group" he finally said

"Hell no!!!! We have just one more cooking laboratory!!!! Do you want it  burned to crisps!!???" She dramatically yelled making the entire class laugh.

"Cooking and baking group" he said firmly. Indicating her opinion wasn't needed.

"Ethan Blakely! Music group. Team 3" he said and Xander smirked.

"Sophie Williams! Music group. Team 1. Side stage " he said and I sighed

"Chloe Starling! Music group. Team 1. Solo singer" He said and she blushed
