Sophie's POV

I wanted him to know that I could be there for him. We'll still be enemies even after this but still... Let's enjoy this moment. I looked up at him and he gulped.

Xander's POV

I couldn't believe my eyes... I was looking at Sophie..her face.. The face I've never seen.

She was beautiful.... My dream came to my mind again, no wonder I could see everything in her view in the dream.

"You should stop staring...it's creepy" she said and i smiled.

"You've hidden for how long?" I asked and she sighed

"Since I was 12" she stated simply indicating she didn't wanna talk about it

I nodded and looked at the beach from the cliff where we sat.

"We should come here again.... But not searching for you" she said and I chuckled

"Yeah we should" I agreed and she nodded

"I'll let them come over....now that I've seen you...sitting at the table won't be a bad idea..don't you think" I said smirking and she smacked my head again

I laughed and she shook her head with a smile plastered on her face. I noticed the little dimpleon her cheek.

She's beautiful.. I've met lots of girls but she was different

We drove home and I thanked her for coming to find me. I was glad she came

I went into mum's room to tell her to allow them come over. If Sophie doesn't make it to that dinner. I might go crazy and harm one or both of them

For the first time since I met Sophie...I wanted to rely on her. For the first time... I needed her... I needed Sophie.

Tuesday

I woke up feeling refreshed. I spoke too soon as I saw Clara leaning against my door.

"What? Planning another way to get me outta bed?" I snapped remembering the time she rose my bed and I landed on the floor. She was strong for her age

"Awnnn of course not? What's going on between you and Sophie?" She blurted out

I choked on spit and started coughing

"What?" I squeaked and she laughed at my face

"You know... You should get me water and not stare at me" I said and she shrugged

"Answer me Roy" she deadpanned

"Of course not... She just helped with one thing" I explained while getting off the bed and taking off my socks.

"One thing? She has helped you with lots of things...cooking, enduring the embarrassment at school...name it" she said and I sighed
"Just don't fuck it up...like you've always done... You could make good friends" she said and I nodded slowly watching as she walked out of my room.

Friends? Yeah whatever

I got downstairs and saw Sophie coming back from the worker's dining hall with a tray... She was dressed in her normal black hoodie, mask and all.

I would never hide that pretty face... If I was a girl...she didn't seem like the fashion queen kinda girl.

She walked into the kitchen and dropped the tray.

"Shit!! I'm late... Miss Davis would kill me" she said and I laughed. She ran out of the kitchen and passed a glare towards me.

"You're gonna drive me or what?" She asked and I smirked
