Chapter 14:Eva

Sophie's POV

I wanted nothing more than the ground swallowing me up right now.

I gulped and walked in the door and stared at the teacher for a bit.

"You must be Sophie Wills" the robust, short, spiky headed Calculus teacher said and I gave a little glare

"Williams actually not Wills" I said and he rolled his eyes.

"You're the new student right?" He asked and I inwardly scoffed

"Yes,have you seen me around here before?" I said politely. tried

"Have a seat Miss Williams" he said and gestured to an empty seat to which I nodded.

I sat and some kids murmured.

"Who is she?"

"She's hot,I like that"

"I hate how proud she looks"

"Does she think she's a goddess?"

"Her walk steps are amazing in those sneakers"

he kids murmured and I just rolled NY eyes and hoped for a peaceful time at this school.

I listened attentively to the teacher "Anybody knows trigonometry in calculus?" He asked and the students gaped at him.

Very smart kids

I focused all through the class not until Someone walked in. Heads turned and I gave some kids a disgusted look. Must they turn to look?

A wine haired girl entered and froze when they all looked at her.

I felt the same way girl

She apologized for interrupting the class ad most people glared at her. I stifled a laugh at the redness of her face. When her eyes searched the class, her eyes met mine and she gave a small smile before walking to the end of the class to listen to the class. I had three other classes after Calculus: history, arts, moral education.

The bell rung

It was time for lunch, I wasn't excited for lunch or anything near happy. I just wanted to leave the class.

I knew nobody in the school..... almost nobody. The person I knew didn't count. He was unapproachable and thinking of it now,he was nowhere in sight and did that make my day.

I followed some students who headed towards the cafeteria

In few minutes, the once empty cafeteria became crowded and I was glad because everyone focused on eating at the moment. I got sandwich and Cola.

I pulled my mask and no one noticed, as I was eating peacefully, The noisy cafeteria became silent and I had to put my mask back on. Okay,, where the fuck is the guy I was supposed to guard. I looked up to see him

I saw Xander with a black haired girl, they were talking. She was blushing so hard that I wanted to pity her. So he's a first rate flirt... Nice

I closely watched the expression of the kids in the cafeteria, the girls wanted HIM , the guys wanted to be like HIM. It was surprising actually but I could still see scowls and glares from some guys. The girls were trippin

The girl he was talking to left blushing and before I could say Jack! Another girl walked up to him and kissed him hungrily.

He wasn't shocked, he just smirked. I don't know why but I looked at my sandwich and it looked like worms in my sight. I was disgusted, I lost my appetite.

I tossed my Sandwich in the trash bin behind me. I made a disgusted face "Not a fan uhn?" Someone said and I looked up to see the wine haired girl from earlier

I smiled "Nope" I said and popping the p. "I can relate actually" she said smiling "Evangeline, call me Eva" She said and stretched out her hand towards me and I took it "Sophie" I said she smiled. "I lost my appetite, so let's leave" she said and I gave a look saying I know right?. She chuckled and we stood up. Passing by Xander and his girl. "Give her a break Xander" Eva said mockingly "she's red and out of breath,you know" I mocked and Xander's girl glared at me "I'm not out of breath" she said in a shaky voice and I chuckled lowly "Keep telling yourself that" I spat at her and we walked out of the cafeteria.
"She's a bitch" Eva said and I rose an eyebrow "who?" I asked confusedly "Amanda, don't let her upset you" she said and I nodded
