Chapter 47

Xander's POV

I watched silently as the breeze blew her hair over her face. I smiled slightly

She was...heavenly

I tapped her shoulder and she turned back to look at me

"It's late, do we still have any where in mind to visit?" I finally asked her and she gave a childish grin showing her gums

"Let's go to the parkkkkk" she squealed and my eyes widened

"Why? We're not kids" I groaned

"Yes we are and we're gonna have lots of funnnn" she squealed again.

Okay. I was gonna snap her neck If she did anything silly at the park

We arrived at the park and it was dark already, maybe few minutes after 7

I parked my car in the driveway and we got out of the car.

She squealed suddenly as she looked at the nice things placed in the park

She ran down the park and smiled facing me

I rolled my eyes at her

"C'mon Xander...it's just us...don't be shy" She cooed and I sighed

She pulled my hand as we stopped by a candy store

"One chocolate flavored candy and one mint candy" she said to the young guy selling it

He passed her a wink to which she rolled her eyes

Can I blame them? She was in a short skirt

He sold it and gave her a card with his phone number again on it

She just sighed, took the candy and walked away

I followed behind her and watched closely as she held the candy in both hands.

I cleared my throat

"You didn't tell me it was all yours" I snapped

"Uhn....I have two tongues...I didn't mention it earlier. Why? You want one?" She teased, swinging the candy in my sight

I rolled my eyes and grabbed it out of her hand making her chuckle and mutter 'prick'

We kept walking and smiling at the crowd at the park. It shouldn't be this crowded unless it's a general holiday

"What's the celebration?" She asked voicing out my thoughts

"Uhhh.....I guess it's Public smile day" I said noticing a display board saying 'Happy smile day'

It was a day set aside to congratulate doctors who healed patients with a facial condition making them unable to smile

"Ohh cute" She replied and walked on

A bear stood in an angle and waved tickets at people passing. She happily ran over to the bear and waved at him

He smiled at her

At least, that's what I think he did...if it's a he

He pulled her in  for a hug, she hugged him tightly back

That didn't just happen!!! A fucking bear

I walked over to them and pulled Sophie away from the disgustingly cute bear

I yanked her away as she continued protesting

I suddenly stopped and looked at her

"Heyyy he was being nice" she complained
