Watch Me

The people watch me
and won't leave me be
like I'm under some microscope or in a glass ball
and they are ready to watch me fall
every move I make
every second I wake
and every second I sleep
they creep
ready to stab me in the back with a sharp tool
as I fear I'm acting like a fool
they watch and glare
and I wish they weren't there,
dissecting every move like I'm a specimen in a lab
"she's so drab"
"she's so fat"
"she's got ears like a bat"
"she's so scared"
"and skin so faired"
"she's dumb and lame"
"like life is some board game!"
how do I escape
this poisoned fate
I'm trying and failing
because the true essence of my disgusting soul is prevailing
I hold this fear
and lie here
in this glass ball
and I'll never stand tall
I can't get away
I guess this situation will forever stay
