A week after the wedding, The Beatles met in the recording studio to kick off their new album recording for Rubber Soul.

"Alright then, we best get to work!" John said in one of his voices, making Paul and Ringo chuckle. When John made his friends, especially Paul laugh, it brought a smile to his face knowing that they're happy even when he may not be. He fakes a smile when he needs to and if he can't take it, he'll let it all out like he did when he and George got into that fight. I needed to make them at least talk it out. George let out a heavy sigh, catching my attention. He raised his eyebrows at me, and knowing him, that meant he wanted to talk to me so I went up to him.

"You alright, Georgie?" I asked him, sitting next to him on the ground.

"Fine, but I wanted to ask you something." He told me.

     "Go on ..." I spoke.

"Is John still mad at me?" George asked, solemnly.

"I think so, sorry. But I did actually want to talk to you about that too. I want you two to talk it out."

"That's what I want! I hate arguing with the lads, especially John for that matter because it's almost impossible to win an argument with him." He chuckled. I couldn't help but agree, but I kept silent, not wanting to risk John hearing me.

"If you want to make up with him, go talk to him now, then."

     "Yeah, you're right. Thanks, love."

I smiled slightly as I watched George go up to John.

"John," I heard George approach him from the distance. I was still sitting near George's guitar at the other side of the room. I could only make out so much of their conversation because of Paul tuning his base.

     "George." John replied, firmly.

"I want to move past this."

"You don't think I want that too?"

     "I never said that."

I was shocked. Did John hear us? There's no way. While we were talking, John was singing to himself.

"I know you think so, though."

     "John, please." George practically begged.

"Y'know I won't be able to ever fully forgive you, right?"

     "Why?"

"Because you're in love with her. I know I can't stop you and feelings are uncontrollable, but she's my wife. I love her and she chose me so it would be best if you moved on so you don't go insane and we have a fight like this again."

George looked taken aback, and as a moment of silence struck between them, he thought about what John said.

     I can't move on. I've tried, I swear, but it's so hard. Y/N is the most perfect girl and no one has come close to taking the place she has in my heart. I'd rather live my lifetime alone than let her go. - That's what George thought in his head and wanted to say to John. But instead, he said this;

     "Sure."

I then watched as John brought George into a hug, and I could tell by the look on their faces it was much needed. They missed each other and I missed them being able to get along. It was a win-win-win.

For the rest of the day, they were writing, recording and playing songs for their new album. They had spent today working on the songs Drive My Car and Norwegian Wood (The Bird Has Flown). Although I've known what that song was about for years, I've never had a good answer to what it's truly about. Surely John really wouldn't write a song about a man trying to seduce a lesbian - would he? I guess we'll never know.
