Days and nights later, it was time for the official release of Rubber Soul! We all met at Paul's house; now that it was empty and there was more relaxing space, before we braced ourselves for the screaming and rather abusive fans waiting at the premier.

"Do either of you lads have a date?" John asked Paul and George.

"No." Paul replied, simply. "I think it's too soon after the breakup. Also if the press see's I'm with another woman, then I'll only be proving her point."

"What if Linda's there?" Ringo asked. I had filled him, George, and Maureen on the details of the conversation I had with John and Paul on the day Jane did that interview.

"Oh, I'll talk to her, yeah. But I won't try anything. I can't even if I wanted to." Paul answered.

"We're here for you if anything goes wrong, or you feel uncomfortable." I told him.

"Thanks, Y/N." He looked at me. "Anyway," Paul started, now looking at George. "you got a date?" He winked. George chuckled softly.

     "Yeah." He replied.

"Oh my God!" I yelled. Everyone turned and looked at me, confused, while I was staring at George, shocked.

"Is something wrong?" George asked, bluntly. Damn, I insulted him.

"No, no!" I started. I had honestly not thought this out well, and was now stuck on how to reply.

     "But?"

"Nothing's wrong. I'm just so happy for you!" I said, as a quick save. George gave me a half-hearted smile, with a hint of hurt in his eyes.

"Sure, thanks." He replied. We dropped the conversation, without even finding out who the girl was because it just got too awkward. I guessed in my head that it would be Pattie Boyd from how events went on in my world. But I could be wrong, since he rejected her during the Hard Day's Night movie. She probably got snatched by Eric Clapton or something. She's absolutely stunning and could have anyone she wanted. During filming, there was a little spark but George was too stubborn with his feelings to explore. I'm glad he finally got out of his comfort zone and moved on from me. About time, anyway.

Later that night, we got to the premier. As we came out of the limo, one by one, George was behind me and he separated from us.

"Where's he going?" Maureen asked me.

"I don't -" And suddenly, he came out from behind a crowd of people, holding tightly to the hand of Pattie Boyd. My overall guess had been correct.

     "Wow!" Ringo said.

     "You're surprised?" I chuckled.

     "A little, honestly." He replied.

"She was practically drooling over him at the movie premier." I reminded Ringo.

"Yeah, but he was so in love with you, remember?" I didn't know what to say, so I stayed silent and went up to the new couple.

"George, are you going to introduce us?" I asked, excited to get to know Pattie.

"You've met before, haven't you?" He asked.

"We saw each other, but never talked." I told him.

"Well, this is Pattie." He said, gesturing to her who was now clinging to his arm, almost like a scared little kid when a stranger approaches. She was known to be very shy around those she hadn't really known. "Pattie, this is Y/N, John's wife. I'm sure you know the others except for Maureen, Ringo's wife."
