Jin got out of Jay's SUV.  "What do you want?" She asked Stone.

"Can we talk? Please Jin, I'm so sorry." He was begging her.

Sunny said, "you don't owe him anything."

"She's right, but ..." Stone didn't know what to say.

Jay stepped in front of Jin.  "Hey man, if she does talk to you and you upset her, um...like, one of us is going to kick your ass."

"Fine, all of you come to my apartment.  No need to keep standing on the sidewalk like this." Jin lead them up the stairs and unlocked her door.

"Anyone else want a drink?" Mike asked as he got out a bottle of rum.

"I'm not allowed to, because of my head.  Help yourselves."  She sat down beside Jay.

Everyone sat down and Chris filled Sunny and Jay in on everything. There was silence as they all realized what Jin had been put through as a child.  Choking on the words, Stone asked, what they all were scared to know.  "Did that bastard, did he... rape you?"

"No, that I know 100%.  The other stuff he said in the hospital, I don't remember and don't want to.  I got over it a long time ago." She tucked her legs up against her chest.  "Did you know he was blackmailing mom about the house?"

"Mom never said anything about that.  She refused to talk about anything that concerned you.  I don't even want to talk to her.  How could she be so selfish?" Stone asked rhetorically.  Then said, "I know I keep saying sorry.  I took it out on you, the way I treated you...."

Jin held up her hand to stop him.  "It's enough already.  Just you beating dad up, that made up for a lot."  To Chris she asked, "does the rest of the crew know about all this?"

"They were there when Stone attacked your dad.  The guys know why he did it, but everything that happened after Stone went to jail, is just known by the people in this room."

"Good I don't want anyone else knowing.  I don't want pity or to be treated like a porcelain doll.  I put a restraining order on dad and mom.  And before you even ask, I won't ever forgive either of them.  I do forgive you Stone, but actions speak louder than words.  You have to show me that I can trust you again."

Jay asked, "how many guys are in your crew?"

Chris answered, "including Stone and myself, we're five."

Stone offered, "Jin, you and your friend can join us."

Jin looked at Sunny.  "I don't know about her, but I want the crew to vote on it.  So after we compete at Knuckle Up, then we'll see if the crew grows to seven."

"Her? Then who's this joker?" Stone asked, pointing at Jay Park.

"I'm her boyfriend," Jay said before Jin could answer.

Mike raised an eyebrow and added, "and I'm her soulmate."

Sunny laughed, "wow... how did this suddenly become a pissing contest?"

Jin smiled at her, "I know right?"  But she did slip her hand into Jay's and smiled, when he put his arm around her shoulders.

Jay whispered into her ear, "I know you said I had to wait, but your brother is such a jerk I couldn't help myself."

In reply, Jin simply kissed his cheek.  Then she said, "okay now that we've talked... everyone get out, except Jay."

Sunny and Mike stood up first, "call us or text if you need anything."

Chris nodded to Stone, "let's go man."

Stone moved to hug Jin, but she flinched away from him.  Jay stood up, arms crossed.  Stone backed down, "relax dude.  We're going.... Jin... thanks."

Jay made sure they left and then asked, "do you want to stay here or go back to my apartment?"

"Whatever you want," Jin sighed.

"Let's go, my bags are packed and it's my last night here. I'd like to spend it together, even if that means just  cuddling."

"Okay, let me just pack a change of clothes and my pyjamas," Jin said.  From her room she said, "did you ask about my brother's crew, because you really were curious or just to push him towards asking me back into it?"

"A little of both," Jay admitted from the living room.  "You and Sunny are really good, but if you're in a guy's crew, you'll have better odds of getting into more battles and competitions."

"Really? That would be awesome!"

Jay teased, "you sound like a little kid at Christmas."

She laughed, "that would be Christmas... dancing all the time; getting money for dancing.  Not having to work full time at McDonald's."

"I'm so use to being able to do what I want, when I want and not worry about money, that I forget sometimes how it is for other people."

"That's understandable... I'm all set, let's go."

Jay took her bag and tossed it into the back seat, as Jin got into the SUV with him.  "I have nothing to eat or drink at the apartment, do you want me to stop somewhere?"

"Drive thru is fine, for whatever you want," Jin said and then added, "I'm buying."

He stopped for a red light and tried to argue, but she just kept kissing away his words until he gave up. It took a honk from a car behind them, for his mind to return to driving. Jay looked at Jin as they drove onward and she wore a victorious smile.  While they waited in line at the drive thru, Jay got her back.  Both were ready to forget about the food and just go, but it was their turn to pay.
