It took a few days, before Jin could move around freely. Swimming each day helped speed up her recovery. Going for short walks with PJ and Oscar, got her out of the house. Jay was so busy all the time, that she was mostly by herself. When he was home, Jay was avoiding sex, to make sure they didn't hurt her back. Jin was horny as hell and planned on seducing Jay that night, but he called her before going on stage, telling her not to wait up. Little by little, Jin began to feel like Jay was leaving her behind. Even the other guys, came by less and less. He didn't even notice when she cancelled the physiotherapist. When out of the blue her Grandmother called her cell phone, she agreed to meet her, just to talk to someone.

"Thank you for coming."

"I was surprised you called me. How did you get my cell phone number?"

"Well I spoke to Jay Park a while ago and he passed it on. I would like to get to know you Jin."

They chatted a good two hours, before Jin's grandmother had to go to an appointment. Jin agreed to meet up with her for lunch the next day. She wasn't sure what her emotions were and normally Jin would dance to clear her mind. But she had another week to go, before the doctor would give his approval, and didn't want to risk it. So instead she began to cook and bake. Since Jay would be late again, Jin wondered if any of the guys would want to eat with her. When she called AOMG, she was told Ugly Duck and Loco were with Jay. Hep and Simon D weren't available either. Feeling lonely, Jin called Mike. But he told her just to talk it over with Jay, to not give up. Jin was torn between wanting things back on track and not becoming a pain in Jay's ass. When Stone called the next day, with information on the court proceedings, he told her that right after R16 was done, she'd have to return to USA. Jin didn't tell him about her back, but agreed to return home. She'd go quietly, not telling anyone she'd be leaving, so as not to be a burden anymore. A part of her heart hurt, but Jin was a pro at blocking out her feelings.

It was Loco who came to visit out of the blue and found Jin drinking tequila. "Hey is everything alright?" He asked, concerned since it wasn't even noon yet.

Jin didn't want to lie, so she just shrugged and asked her own question. "What's up, Jay leave something important here?" It sounded like a loaded question in her ears, but like most guys, Loco didn't catch on.

"No, all's good. I just was in the area and came to see how your back is."

"I'm fine, thanks for checking up on me. Next week I go see the doctor. Then I can get back to work cooking at Dudart or dancing again."

"That's great! Are your friends and brother's crew still coming to R16 World finals?"

"Yup. Sunny arrives in two weeks, my brother and crew in three."

"That's dope. Well I've got to get back, see you later Jin." Loco gave her a quick hug and then left. When he got back to AOMG, Loco saw Simon D. "Have you visited with Jin lately?"

"No time. Have you?"

"Yeah I just came from there. She seemed a bit moody."

"Women," Simon D sighed.

Loco nodded and ended up forgetting about Jin's drinking. When her grandmother invited her over for a visit, Jin brought the porridge and baked things there. Her grandmother was delighted with the food and explained her own love for cooking. Jin found out that there were a lot of similarities between her grandmother and herself. The woman was knowledgeable and very laid back. Jin ended up telling her everything; the family abuse, Jay, her back injury and her dreams/goals for the future. Her grandma ended up going with Jin to the doctor, for an update on her spine.
