Now that Jin was once again working at Cafe Dudart, Jay wasn't so worried that he'd come home from doing a show out of town, to find she wasn't there. He understood why she'd almost taken off and he wasn't mad at her, but still Jay had been a little uneasy. Simon D had promised that whenever Jay did a show in another country, Simon D would make time to hang out with Jin. True to his word, Simon D even sent Jay pictures of Jin eating or selfies of them together.
Jin was watching SMTM4 with Jehan at Dudart and had to admit, "how Song Mino handled that Black Nut decision reversal was classy. I change my mind, he has my respect. But I've seen San E on stage in the US and I don't think he's a very good performer, now I feel he's a terrible coach too."
"Yeah I'm not a fan of that team either," Jehan agreed.
"Jay and Loco are just too nice. They're respectful of the people in the other teams, but they need to go for the jugular. It should be Simon D and Loco or Gray, Jay's too laid back for this show."
"He literally shows the money for his team. But I agree my bro isn't made for this show."
"Even though I'm his girlfriend, I'd love to see him on a drama or on 'We Were Married'!" Jin laughed.
"Jay's getting to that age I guess. I think he's married to AOMG," Jehan sighed.
"That's okay with me. I like that he's loyal to the label and wants to keep it successful. He's driven and has goals. Maybe when he's an old fart, he'll slow down."
Jehan gave her a weird look, "where the hell are more women like you?"
She laughed, "trust me, you don't want someone as screwed up as I am. From the outside it may seem I'm cool, but I've got a lot of issues. I'm the one that's lucky that he's so patient." Her smile fell a little as reality of her situation tried to creep into her mind.
Jehan punched her in the arm, "whatever! You're a fantastic cook and an awesome dancer, you're out spoken just like him. Who cares if you're a little nuts. Shit you don't even bust his balls about girl fans trying to get in his pants."
Jin snorted, "why would I? Performing is who he is, not just his job or career. I knew that coming into being his girl. And anyway, his girl fans are why he keeps his body ripped. My man will never be fat."
Now it was Jehan's turn to laugh, "even when he becomes an old man?"
"Well we'll both look like shit by then," Jin smirked.
Simon D walked into Dudart, with Hep and Crush. "What's this about Jay being an old man?"
"Nothing... what do you guys want to eat n drink?" Jin got up to take their orders, as Jehan greeted the guys.
Jin went to the kitchen and Simon D asked Jehan how she was. "Honestly, whatever is back home waiting for her, has her upset, but she's hiding it well."
"That's expected, thanks." Simon D reported to Jay, via text.
Hep thanked Jin for his food, when it came out. Then he asked, "so Sunny and your crew are coming soon for R16 right?"
"Sunny's coming the second last week of August and the crew comes the week after. I can't wait to see her," Jin replied.
"Gonna do any match making?" Crush asked.
"That girl doesn't need help hooking up," Hep answered for her.
"I volunteer to tame her," Crush offered.
Everyone laughed, "good luck dude," Simon added.
The guys talked about upcoming promotions, shows and music. Jin couldn't hang with them, as suddenly there was a rush of orders to complete. Jehan even had to go back in the kitchen to assist. Since Simon D was done for the day, he stuck around and waited for Jin to be done work.
