Jin had a phone call to make back home and it wasn't good news. "Hi Stone. R16 Korea Eliminations have been cancelled indefinitely, due to MERS."
"Shit! So you went to South Korea for nothing," Stone replied.
"Not for nothing, I came here for Jay and I'm staying here to work and dance."
"For how long?"
"I don't know. I guess until I get called back by the courts for Dad's crap."
"That's in a few months, maybe more.... I know I can't convince you to come home, but at least let me know if anything bad happens, okay?"
"Sure bro. I found work here now, so I can support myself if need be. I'll call Sunny and let her know about R16." Jin did exactly that and found out that Sunny had just moved her stuff into Jin's apartment, getting rid of hers completely.
"When you get back, I talked to the landlord and he said he's okay with us getting a two bedroom unit, if you're cool with that." Sunny explained why she'd moved in.
"Hell yeah sista! And thanks," Jin said with affection. "I'm not sure when I'll be back though. I'm working at Jay's brother's cafe, in the kitchen. I get to dance a little too."
"Nice! And how's Jay?" Sunny asked suggestively.
"He's busy, as usual. Things are really good right now. He offered to be my manager, once I start getting dance contracts."
Sunny laughed, "mixing business with pleasure is a dangerous game!"
"What business? No one has offered me a job dancing, other than Cafe Dudart," Jin sighed. "Well Jinooya said if he has anything for me in the US, he'll call me first."
"That's better than working at Mc Donald's and not dancing," Sunny said with encouragement.
They chatted a little longer and then hung up. She was waiting for Jay to be ready to go. He was giving her a ride to Dudart on his way to the AOMG office. They were listening to the radio, when an announcement for R16 came on. Jin wasn't sure she understood it correctly, but her excitement rose.
"Did they just say R16 World Finals was still going to happen in Seoul?" Jin asked Jay for clarification.
"Yup, so you'll still be able to go and watch it."
"Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 11-13... I can't wait. I'm going to get the tour package!"
Jay grinned, "shouldn't you call your crew and let them know?"
Jin did just that. She had to hold the phone away from her ear, due to the shriek of joy from Sunny. Jay told her to put that call on speaker phone.
"Sunny, come a little earlier so we can hang out. You know I've got room at my place for you," Jay offered.
"Seriously? Thanks Jay you're the best! I've gotta go, but I'll Skype you later!" Sunny hung up.
"Who's going to be the DJ? Are they asking anyone from AOMG to host the finals?"
"Haven't heard anything yet," Jay shrugged.
"Well they should! Especially since Korean Eliminations got cancelled."
He agreed with her. "If anyone does go from us, I'll see if you can be a backup dancer."
That made Jin give a whoop and lean over to kiss his cheek. "Wow, that would be awesome, but only if Simon D agrees too."
"Of course he will. I'll see what I can find out." He stopped the car and they kissed deeply, before she got out to go to work.
"Are you coming to Dudart tonight to watch SMTM4?" Jin asked from the sidewalk.
