As I left Dr. MEI's laboratory...
Elysia: "Y/n darling~!"

Y/n: 'What great timing.'

Eden: "Greetings, Y/n, long time no see."

Y/n: "Hi, Eden and Elysia. I actually wanted to see you, Elysia."

Elysia: "Aw, did baby Y/n miss me?"

Y/n: "Actually I did."

Elysia: "Aw, how kind of you!"

Y/n: "Let's hang out, we all haven't done so in a while."

Eden: "Then, I'll get everything ready in the lobby. You want to drink, Y/n?"

Y/n: "Yes, I will."

Eden: "Ooh, yes! Then let me get it all ready~!"

As Eden happily left to the lobby to have everything ready...
Elysia: "I'm not going to lie that you have become such a different person in just about a few months or so."

Y/n: "I know, it's hard to believe despite all the changes, I'm still me regardless."

Elysia: "And I hope there's something you can let me do."

Y/n: "Do what?"

She looks up, eventually you also look up to where her motive is.
Your ears.

Elysia: "May I touch your ears?"

Y/n: "Absolutely not."

Elysia: "Why not?"

Y/n: "My ears are very sensitive and I don't even like it when someone touches my ears."

Elysia: "Please? Just once?"

Y/n: "No."

Elysia: "Come on, I touched your ears when they were undeveloped so why can't I touch them now?"

Y/n: You touched my ears when they were undeveloped?!"

Elysia: "Whoops, didn't meant to say that~"

Y/n: "Jeez..."

We both finally made it to the lobby, passing two others.
Besides you three, there was only Sakura and Su who themselves were holding a conversation.
They or may not have stopped talking to overhear the two of you talking.
And may have also quickly glanced at your now beautiful adult self before continuing their conversation.

Elysia: "Ehehe, but you will let me touch them sometime, right?"

Y/n: "No way in life that will ever happen again."

Elysia: "Come on, Y/n, you have to give me a chance~!"

Y/n: "Absolutely no."

Elysia: "Please, pretty please, please?"

Y/n: "You sure are trying so hard, it's a no, no matter what." I smile to the Miss Pink Elf.

Elysia: "Fine then, but I won't give up so easily~"

Y/n: "Do what you must, you're not getting my ears."

Elysia: "Hehe~!"

Y/n: "Sigh..."

Eden: "But besides your ears, you have such nice features. The surgery did this to you?"

Y/n: "Huh? Yeah, that it did."

The three conversed until late midnight.
Eden was the first to knock out as she drank a lot this time.
Elysia didn't drink that much but is just sleeping soundly in the lounge.
You carefully took them to their bed one at a time.
First was Eden, second, Elysia right after.
You sit next to the sleeping Miss Pink Elf.

Moving her hair away from her face, to the side, you grin as if you would see her here one last time...
Because sadly, you would.

Dr. MEI had given you a mission.
This place you're going to might take you several days to go there, several days to complete it and a few more days to come back.

Y/n: "I would stay with you a bit more, but I have work starting tomorrow... So I can't stay with you, Elysia.

You slowly move forward towards her cheek, giving it a gentle kiss as you move back to look at her again with regret.

Y/n: "I wish I would've told you sooner, but it's for the best..."

???: "Are you ready, Y/n?"

Y/n: "Yes Dr. MEI, one moment..."

Dr. MEI: "Please make it quick, we have no time..."

You look back at Elysia one last time and carefully moved off her bed.
Picking up your packed things from the front of Elysia's room outside the hall, you mumble silently yet softly...

Y/n: 'I wish I could've told Elysia that I'm leaving tonight... because... I might not come back.'
