EX. SAKURA'S MEMORY [1]

Sakura noticed something she didn't remember having within her data currently as of now.
Before Sakura could process it on her own, she went to a specific person who could've unlocked some parts of her memories.

???: "Mei-dono."

Mei turns to see the pink haired rabbit.
The owner of Setsuna.
The person who wields the same weapon as her and is the Flame-Chaser who has possession of the Signet of Setsuna.
She was known for getting her missions done silently and quick.
Yet she came on her own accord to speak to her successor.

Sakura:  "Welcome back from your third trial."
Sakura:  "I dont know how you fared, but at least you're still in one piece."

Mei:  "Yes, I'm fine. The Elysian Realm is riddled with known to unknown enemies, but it turned out to be a valuable experience."
Mei:  "If I'm not mistaken, you've face a lot of them before, correct?"

Sakura:  "Some of them."

Mei:  'Some of them?'

Sakura:  "You're not the first to come here... everyone who came before left unique marks."
Sakura:  "The Elysian Realm changed them, and in return they changed the realm... including the enemies."

Mei:  "..."
Mei:  'Changed the realm... and changed the... enemies? What does that mean?'

Sakura:  "Sorry, that's the only answer I can give to you right now. If you run into Su or
Y/n-dono, the either two might give you a better explanation."

Mei:  "I think I understand."

Sakura:  "No, you don't know nearly enough, Mei-dono. Don't jump to conclusions."
Sakura:  "When fighting enemies in the Elysian Realm, you can even sense the fear... and inner darkness we once experienced."

Sakura:  "That's something far more terrifying than your enemies. You must guard against it at all cost."

Mei:  "What do you mean by that?"

Sakura:  "..."
Sakura:  "Mei-dono, In your eyes, which is more difficult? To kill a honkai beast or a human villain?"

Mei:  "A Honkai Beast."

Sakura:  "No, killing a villain is far more difficult."

Mei:  "Why?"

Sakura:  "Even with a blade as fast as Setsuna, you cannot kill the evil in the heart of a villain."

Sakura:  'In your eyes, which is more difficult? To kill a Honkai Beast or a human villain?"

Mei:  'Is it so hard to kill a human villain than to kill a honkai beast? Why should it be?'
