8. ELYSIAN REALM: MEI'S SECOND TRIAL

Two portals with two new symbols come up.
One she already knows of its existence from her good friend and another that she's never seen before.

Mei: 'Kaslana?'

Not wanting to choose the latter from her past experience with 'her', she goes to the other portal that symbolized of a cherry blossom.

Mei: "..."
Her first wave of enemies: Two Paladins.

Paladin: "ROOOAAAR!"
The Paladin took a second before leaping and smashing its' whole body towards Mei.
She once again effortlessly evades the Honkai monsters.
She put a few slices before charging up energy.
And then...
Charge...
...
...
...
Mei: "SEI!"

Her sword was held up high, as if she was in a slashing position.
Her sword came down, along with the psychic katana.
Then...
SLAAAAM!

A clap of strong thunder sounded and lightning struck brightly as soon her attack made impact, causing the honkai monsters to dissipate along with the lightning's glow.
Her slam attack finished them both off in a singular manner.
Not even seconds later, her second wave of enemies came forward and immediately went after her.
This time, it was two Templars.

Mei: 'Shield-breaking... it shouldn't be too hard.'

Mei: 'There's my chance...!'
Mei: "Sei!"

CHARGE... SLAM!
Templars: "Roooar..."
It let out a death roar before disappearing like small honkai cubes that formed them together.
The enemies again left by Mei's hands once more.

Mei: "...?"

When she appeared, it's like a cherry blossom falling upon her shoulder.
She's already there... Mei knew.
Yet when she lifted her head, she can't find her anywhere.

???: "Welcome to the trial, Successor."
Her voice was a bit chilling, yet soft and soothing.
Before Mei knew it, she was also met with another pink haired girl.
This time, with two katanas on her left...
And had ears that resembled of a bunny.

???: "My name is Sakura, and I'm here to pass on the skills of Setsuna."

Mei:  "Hello, I'm Raiden Mei."

Sakura:  "There's no need for introduction. A Herrscher coming to Elysian Realm... every Flame-Chaser was immediately informed."

Mei:  "I suppose there's no reason to be nervous."

Sakura:  "Perhaps for us, but not for you."
Sakura:  "Never mind, seems I may have talked too much to a first-time visitor."
Sakura:  "Take this Signet. With you there's no reason to take things slow."
Sakura says handing her Signet to Mei.

Sakura:  "Your Herrscher powers and reflexes will allow you to handle this gift while others may struggle to do so."

Mei:  "Thank you, but what you said makes me hesitant to accept."
Sakura:  "As long as you're here, do not drop you guard at any moment. And that's the first lesson."

Mei accepts Sakura's Signet, after making her proper farewell, she moves along with the now two portals that appeared before her.

Elysia:  "What do you think? Is my signet..."
Elysia:  "Oh, I gotta keep my voice down. He can still hear me."
Elysia:  "Is my signet better than theirs?"
