Y/N, THE 14TH MEMBER OF THE FLAMECHASERS: An [Honkai Impact 3rd] Mini-Story

11. ELYSIAN REALM: MEI'S 3RD TRIAL

A moment later, she makes it to a new space.
Along the lines were her enemies, as usual.
A few honkai monsters and two MECHs.
She would have to defeat these small fry before talking to the Flame-Chaser she's going to meet up with.

Mei: "Here they come."

Not came one, two, but three Chariots come charging after her at the same time.
As per usual, Mei stands there unaffected.
She was already used to every type of Honkai monsters she's seen that it doesn't affect her as much as it did before.
She zips right through them, including the MECHs that were coincidentally right behind them as well.

SPAAAAAAARK!
The three Chariots disappear with a click of a snap.
KABOOOOOOM!
The two MECHs self destructs from the quick slash.

Mei: "That takes care of wave one. Second wave is..."

Two Void Hellions and one Void Chela.
The two Hellions circled around her before they started charging at her at the same time in opposite directions.
The Void Chela starts rolling vigorously in one place before it started coming towards her in the middle.
Mei evades them three at the same time.
Their purple hues then turn to white.
Mei knew their purple barriers that were protecting them were completely torn temporarily.
Pulling them all together at once, she brings Kurikara out and lets it rampage all it wants.

SWING, SLASH, SWIIIING!
Kurikara: "ROOOOOAAAAAAAR!"
There, the spilling wrath of thunder of the dragon stunned and eventually completely paralyzed them in their tracks.
To make sure they're really taken down once and for all...
She slams her sword down, resulting a huge impact on the enemies.
After she finishes her battle, she meets the person in charge of the Signet of Setsuna once more.

???: "Greetings, visitor."
???:  "As expected, you've exceeded what's expected from you. Even I'm impressed."

Mei:  "Thank you, Sakura. I didn't expect you to see you here by the sidelines."

Sakura:  "It's nothing new to those you've come to see. I can tell you came here first, so I'm just fulfilling my duty, waiting for the successor's arrival and provide them of the support they need."
Sakura: "Here's my signet once more, I await for you to collect more from me when you travel throughout your trial. Just like I said before, move on forward. There's really no reason why you should take your time."

Mei: "Thank you, Sakura. I'll gladly take this."

Sakura: " Come to me whenever you seek my help, Mei-dono. We use similar weapons, I'm sure you can learn something or two while using it to your advantage."

Mei accepts Sakura's signet and went forward to the next three portals, revealing...
Vicissitude.
Deliverance.
And...
Elysia's Signet.

Mei:  "Elysia?"
She goes forward to Elysia's Signet portal and gets teleported to the next space.

There, she was greeted with two Ancient Mechs and two Lightning Mechs immediately.
SLASH, SLASH, SLASH, SLASH...
SLAAAAAASH!
She immediately uses her charged attack to efficiently clear off the first wave.

The second phase was...
Mei: "One Void Erinyes, two Void Taurus, and one Storm Templar. One houkai and the rest void."
Mei:  "Seems fair enough."

The two Void Taurus roars before coming towards the Lightning Herrscher.
As what she's used to, she evades through them.
They try to bombard her but instead was met with the Herrscher of Lightning... pulling them together in one pile once more and zips through them.
Their purple colored barriers break, turning them to white hollow ghosts.

After a few slashes later...
They yell out a small roar once more before disappearing like a blink of an eye.
Now her final wave was just two Archangel and two Cassiel.
Easy enough after the second wave gave her some enemies with some durability, but that didn't last long.
She quickly wraps up the third and last wave, her charged attack finishing them off all at once.
