CARMEN 'Candy' ALVES always wanted the better things in life. Growing up in a small apartment in Queens, New York with her mother and older half brother — Carmen was always jealous of the people she would see with flashy cars, nice houses, and the lavish vacations they could take when her family could hardly afford to pay their rent and buy food.
She stumbled upon a website when she was eighteen that was lonely older men looking for younger women to keep them company. All she had to do was talk to them and have dinner with them sometimes and she would get paid for being a somewhat friend to them — Carmen was hooked on the idea.
Candy got out of Queens and the shitty apartment she lived in, getting lavish gifts, money, and even the vacations she had always dreamed of, but everything comes with a price.
BEAU HARRINGTON is a very rich man who had his eyes set on Candy for more than just a 'friend'. He was obsessed with the young woman and would do anything to have her — going as far as stalking her.
Carmen knew she needed to get away from the man, but the only place she could think of was some small town called Charming, where her older half brother had gone to when he left her behind.
Candy can only hope that she hasn't made a mistake going to her brother for help.
