I gasped in disbelief, putting my hand over my mouth to cover it up. I sat
back down in my chair behind me.
Mr. Goggle stood, “but the test was wrong”
“No way. You are not making me believe that” even though I knew that the test was right but some part of me still hoped.
“The test just worked differently on you. Trust me it is wrong. I had one other person get the same thing and it turned out that it was wrong. Don’t worry about a thing”
He was lying, I could tell.
“Then how come I don’t have any powers?”
“The test didn’t work, we have to try something else on you.” He said, hopeful that I would believe this.
“Fine only because I trust you” Even though I don’t.
The bell rang.
“Time for you to go. I will look more into this”
“You promise?” I asked shyly.
“I promise”“Hey, you've been avoiding me all afternoon. What’s been going on?” Wren asked as we waited for my sister to pick us up. I have been so distracted about the test that I realized that I haven’t talked to Wren at all this afternoon.
“Nothing” I lied, “just distracted about something”
“What?” he asked.
“I rather not talk about it”
“Oh,ok” he looked disappointed. “You know I am here if you want to talk about anything”
“Thanks, I know. So anyway, how did you do in power class?” I said to change the subject.
“Great, I learned how to calm them down”
“Wow, That’s great. I am happy for you”
“I mean your power class was pretty bad, right?”
My face turned pale when he mentioned my power class.
“I am sorry, I didn’t mean…”
“No, you have to apologize. I was just thinking about it”
“So it was pretty bad, hu”
“Not as bad as you think”
Lea’s carriage pulled up just in time to save me from talking more about this. Her window pulled down and all she said was “hurry up and get in suckers”
See this is what I have to deal with every day. I can’t stand it.
Me and Wren get in. We drive in silence, no bigger sister asking about my day, no talking at all.
When we got home, the gnomes were everywhere helping us get our books out of the carriage and into the house. Mom and dad asked about my day not even looking off their ringings, probably chatting with someone. But when my sister got out of the carriage they actually looked off their ringings and said hi. Wow my sister gets all the attention, what a surprise.
To my surprise dad said something to me out of the ordinary. “Lily, hon, will you go get my fodder on wandomadic’s in my office for me”
“Sure” I mumbled.
I followed the familiar hallway all the way down to the door on the right. As always there was a mess everywhere. Papers spewed all over the desk, boxes and boxes full of who knows what on the ground. Book shelf’s full of books. Man, my dad really needs to clean up this place. What did you say? Right, wandomadic fodder. The problem is where are the fodders? I tried out all the drovers with no luck, I looked all over the desk with no luck. I looked at the bookshelves where there was a stack of papers on it. On top there was a fodder that said Wandomadic. Hu, found it. But when I picked it up under it there was another red fodder that read…. Lily Meyer
Whhhaaaat was all I thought. Why would he have a fodder with my name on it? And my last name was all wrong. I shouldn’t open it. But then again why does my dad have a folder on me and my name is all wrong? It’s my business because it’s about me and my dad didn’t even tell me. Hopefully I don’t regret this, I open the first page of my folder.Adoption form

Type: HumanThere were lots and lots of other things that were on there that I didn't understand, but I couldn’t get past the part where it said type: human. I was a human.
A/N: sorry I left you off on a cliff hanger but I kind of like writing those. This will be an interesting adventure for Lily.
