Your lips were the forbidden fruit
But your hands were the temptation that made me blind to the truth
Your dark desires danced in your eyes
As I laid facing you, on your side
Your hair covered your face
I placed my hand trying not to shake
Because you still gave me butterflies
Or maybe they were warning signs
A warning, letting me know that it was never supposed to be you and I
My palms still sweat when you hold me
And my throat still stiffens, when your eyes stare into me
All the air leaves my body
But those lips make all of those signs disappear
Because when your lips are on mine, there's no worry and no fear
All I feel is the sparks running through our veins
Knowing very well, that this amount of electricity will stop flowing one day
