The Not So Perfect Fairytale

Chapter 6

2 years later May's 21st Birthday

It was later in the night and I was getting ready to go to the club to celebrate my birthday. I put in a short purple and black dress that matched my half-shaved purple hair. I then put on a pair of black ripped leggings and black combat boots. I could not wait to go out.

"May there here you ready" Luna called up the stairs and I smiled running downstairs to find Taffy, My brother, Megan, Jake, and my boyfriend Luka. I met Luka not long after James broke my heart not to brag or anything but he was perfect and it was love at first song. Ok, that is not the saying but we were both musicians and that is just how it went for us. He played the keyboard and sang. I loved him so much and he had been there for me anytime that I needed him.

I kissed James and then we went outside and got into the limo that had been prepared for us by my father and headed to the club. When we got there we went inside and decided that we would all hang out and then meet up to leave around midnight because we had things to do tomorrow.

Luka and I went up to the bar and I ordered a drink. While Luka went To the restroom I ordered a beer and a shot. I took a sip of my beer as I saw my worst nightmare come up to the bar. It was Gennive James's new girlfriend. She walked right up to me and smiled.

"Oh so you are old enough to come here now you are still so little that you are only drinking a beer that is why James dumped you for me," She said as James came over.

"Ok bitch I want to get a few things straight. First of all, you are the hore that came in and reached my life and took my boyfriend but I hate to break it to you I did not get dumped I did the dumping and left you with my leftovers." I said as Luka walked back over to me. He kissed me on the lips to show James that I had moved on and I whispered something in his ear. I told him that it was about to get messy so he would have to get me out of there when this was over and tell Luna what happened. He gave me a smile to show that he was in.

I then picked up the shoot that I had ordered and drank it quickly asking for another. Luka smiled as James looked at me horrified. After about five shoots James grabbed my arm and told me that I needed to stop drinking. And before anyone could do anything I raised my fist and punched him in the face.

"You do not get to have an opinion in my life or worry about me. You gave up that right when you chose this whore over me bitch. If you loved me you would not have kissed her right after fucking proposing to me I can not believe you" I yelled and everyone looked at him in disbelief. And my brother and the others came over to me. Genivie tried to smack me but I blocked it and smacked her leaving the bar with everyone else behind me. We all went and got some ice cream heading over to the park.

After a while of laughing and talking we all went home and I felt a lot better about myself and this newfound confidence. I told Luna what had happened and smiled to myself as Taffy and I headed up to our room to get some sleep. I woke up in the morning with a headache and took some medicine for it and got dressed. I was hosting a tea party at my father's machine today. I put on a white dress and my long wig, careful not to show any of my hair. I told my father that I had died my hair blond and if I showed up with the hair that I really had he would kill me.

I went downstairs and saw that Taffy was in a light pink dress and had a bonnet to cover her blond and pink hair. James and Matt were downstairs as well. We all headed over to the mansion and went inside to get ready to welcome the guest. Taffy and I went into the kitchen to see how the food and tea were going while the boys went to check on the setup.

"So how are you and Matt doing," I asked Taffy. Taffy had started dating my brother around the same time that I started dating Luka. She had asked my opinion on it and I thought that it was amazing and they seemed so good together.

"We are good. I think that we are getting along really well and I know that we have only been together for two years but I think that he is going to propose to me. I am so excited I think that he is the one." Taffy said and I smiled at her. I was so glad that they seemed to be getting along so well. We checked everything in the kitchen and headed back to the courtyard to meet the guests and start the tea party.

When we had greeted all the guests and just started the tea party Gennive and James came into the courtyard. I rolled my eyes at the dramatic entrance.

"I am so sorry that we are late. Rose seems to have left without us because we were taking too long," Gennive said, trying to sound helpless. I rolled my eyes internally.

No, she left because you were not invited. I know what you're thinking. Did everyone get mad at Rose or something like that in a movie? Most of these people did not even know who she was. Most of these people were either friends of mine or my father's and no one cared about her bull shit. They all glared at her to show that they were not happy that she barged in even though she was late.

She looked so scared about it she had clearly never had anyone act like that toward her before and she probably thought that I was trying to turn the world against her.

After we were done with tea we went to the courtyard to paint. I grabbed some colors and started painting some butterflies while the others painted what they wanted to. All of a sudden Gennive 'tripped' over the air and hit me in the skirt with the paint. I smiled looking down at her on the ground as she stood up.

"I am so sorry I must have tripped." She said, making the obvious excuse. I smiled at her and took my paint brush moving the colors on my shirt around and making it look cool. Some of the other girls looked at it amazed and started doing the same thing. I then dropped my paint pallet on Gennives's skirt and it covered what looked like a very expensive dress.

"Oh, I am so sorry it was not on purpose I promise," I said in a voice that mocked her. She went up to hit me and I punched her as she fell to the floor. She glared at me and I smiled.

"I would appreciate it if you left the scene. You are not important and do not say that you are James' girlfriend. Here are the things that are wrong with that statement. Once you are not his girlfriend you are a whore that ruined my life and two James is not important at all his younger sister is the one to take the throne. Also if you ever think about hurting that young girl to get to the throne I will personally lead a war on you. You will never take that throne while I am alive." I said and James looked at me nervously as he pulled her out of the courtyard to leave.

"I am sorry about this but I think that the party has to come to an end today sorry and please excuse me. '' I said as Luka helped me to my room and Taffy and Matt showed the guests out.
