The Not So Perfect Fairytale

Chapter 12

Mays POV

I woke up to Luka shaking me telling me it was time for breakfast. I smiled getting up and putting on a light purple dress with a pair of white heels and braiding my hair. I then walked with Luka down to the breakfast hall. When I got there I sat at the table and ate. It was only the two of us. As we were eating Annabeth came in and handed me the mail that was for me and smiled at me saying good morning.

"Good morning Annabeth, how are the kids doing today?" I said and she smiled at me. Annabeth had two kids, one son and one daughter, the girl whose name was Claire was nine and the boy whose name was Keith was six. They lived in the maid's quarters of the castle with Annabeth.

"They are both doing well and happy that they are out of school for the week" I smiled at her nodding as she cried and walked away. I had helped Annabeth put her kids into school and helped with them if she needed it. I did the same with all my staff and any of them that had kids that could go to school because I would make sure they were able to.

I looked at the first letter and it was from Jame's place. I sighed rolling my eyes at the thought of him. I opened the letter and saw that it was an invitation to join his older sister for tea. I did not know that he had an older sister. Wouldn't she take the throne before Rose then and why did she want to talk to me? I would have to go and find out.

She said that I could bring another person with me and meet me at a small restaurant that she liked that was in a nearby town. I smiled realizing it was mine and Luna's restaurant. I had decided to work today anyway so I thought why not surprise her? She wanted to meet around two and it was nine now.

"I am going to go down and help out at the restaurant. Would you like to come? I have a meeting with James and Rose's older sister. There are two" I said and he smiled nodding at me. We then both went back to our room and got in our uniforms heading down to the restaurant.

When I walked in and Megan ran over and hugged me and I said hello to jack luna and our two new employees. The restaurant was in a new location that was bigger and we had gotten more stuff than I had hired myself. I made sure that they were all nice people that I knew and liked.

I then got to work and I and James were working. All of the waitresses were on roller skates because I thought it looked cool. The clock hit two and a woman in was wearing black leather pants that the legs looked to be held together by safety pins and a black tank top that had skulls on it and to top it off she was wearing a pair of combat boots. I love her and I don't even know her.

"Hello, I need a table for two. I am meeting with someone. She goes by the name of May and she is the princess." I looked at her with the most ridiculous look in the world; this was James' older sister. I was starting to think that he might be adopted because both the girls are just cool to be related to him.

"Um yes uh we have a private room if you would like '' I said after getting over my shock. She smiled at me and nodded. I led her to the room and handed her the menus. I then left and told Megan that she would have to take care of the private room because I was having my meeting there. I also told her to send Luka in to meet with us.

She told me she would be in soon to take the orders. I then walked into the room and smiled at her while sitting across from her. She looked at me startled that I was sitting down next to her and not taking her order. I smiled at her and she looked at me alarmed. I then reached my hand out.

"Hello, my name is May. Princess May. Nice to meet you um what was your name again." I said and she looked at me and smiled as Luka walked in and sat next to me. She shook my hand and looked at Luka.

"Hello, my name is Luka. I am May's boyfriend and soon-to-be fiance I hope" I giggled as he said that. She smiled at the two of us then Megan walked in and offered to take our drink orders. Once we had ordered she looked at me with a serious look on her face.

"I am going, to be honest with you I am here to make sure that you do not side with that ass hole of a brother that I have and you make sure that Rose becomes queen and I don't want to become queen because I and my fiance are set on traveling the world and I don't want to head back and take over until Rose is of age and can take the throne from me," She said and then I let out a long breath finally stopping myself from screaming in delight.

"I am so glad that you are not here to defend that bastard because I would have lost it and we did not need that I am all for Rose becoming Queen and I told you brother to suck it and I would be standing with Rose no matter what," I said and she smiled at me brightly.

"What made you go with her instead of him, may I ask?" she said and I smiled at her. I could not believe that James was related to such nice people.

"Well many things but the most recent being that his fiancee kidnaped Rose's girlfriend and tried to kill me," I said and she looked at me alarmed at what I had just said.

"What! I have not heard of this although I am happy that Rose finally came out as being a lesbian and found someone to love. Are you ok? Is this love of my baby sister's life ok? Also when I can meet her I want to see my sister again soon. She doesn't know me and Abby are back yet and I need to comfort her about dad.
I smiled at her and told Megan that we were not going to be eating a main course and to come up to the castle for dinner and to bring Jack and Lunna too. With that, we left. I and James got into the Jeep and she got onto a bike behind another girl.

"Hey, Lexi where to now" The other girl who I am assuming was her fiance Abby said smiling.

"We are following this princess to go see Rose and her girlfriend," Lexi said pointing at me. I smiled and waved at the girl who waved back and we headed up to the castle then followed behind us on the bike.
