The Not So Perfect Fairytale

Chapter 16

Lexi's POV

I looked over to see may on the ground with blood on her skirt and that is when I connected all of the dots. Not wanting to go to the club eating strange food lately. May is pregnant and he just punched her in the stomach. I ran over to may and told Luka to pick her up and bring her to the med bay.

May and I might have only been friends for a long time, but I felt a very strong connection to her and did not want her to lose her or her baby. When we got to the hospital room area I got to work and Abby helped me. We had done many things while traveling the world including training in medicine and nursing. After running tests and an ultrasound, we found out that she was ok and I sighed in relief.

"Ok she will be fine and so will the baby," I said and everyone in the room looked shocked including Luka. Did he not know that she was pregnant no the worried face he gave when he hit her in the stomach.

"Um did you say baby as in more than one" Luka said seeming unsure? I looked at him shocked had they not gotten it checked yet?

"Yes there are twins," I said and he started crying. But they looked like tears of joy rather than sad tears. He did not know that they were twins. I was glad that they were happy. Just then May woke up and looked at all of us panicked.

Mays POV

My first thought as I woke up was if my baby was ok. I was not ready to lose my baby I had only just found out about it. I sat up and looked at everyone and I saw that Luka was crying but they seemed to be tears of joy.

"What happened is my baby ok I am not ready to lose it yet please tell me it is ok," I said worriedly at the thought of losing my baby. Luka smiled at me and nodded.

"I have the great honor to inform you that not only is one baby ok but both are you are having twins," Lexi said smiling at me. I burst into tears of joy. I could not believe that I was going to have two babies.

"Can you tell me how far along I am please?" I asked Lexi and she smiled at me.

"You are just about two months along," Lexi said and I smiled at her happy. I could not wait to have twins. Then I thought about something important I was going to be pregnant for nine months. The wedding would have to wait.

"Wait is that why it looked like you were getting fat because I am getting a baby cousin aunty May," Alice said looking at me with a huge smile. Lily looked at her and facepalmed.

"Alice that is rude you should not call your aunt fat," She said. I was glad that Alice had started calling me aunt and Rose, Lily, Abby, and Lexi had taken a liking to be called my sisters we had become a big happy family and were going to add one more. I smiled at her so much.

"Yes Alice I am going to have two babies and you will have to be the best big cushion ever huh," I said and she smiled running out of the room and screaming I am going to be the best big cushion ever with Rose and Lily running after her. I smiled happily this was the best day ever.

"Ok let's start planning a baby shower," Taffy said smiling at me. I smiled back and nodded.

"I want to wait and do it so that we can do a gender reveal at the baby shower. I have always wanted one and know I get to have one for twins. I can not wait" I said smiling at everyone in the room brightly.

Five Months later at the baby shower/gender reveal

I smiled as I picked up the confetti canon that was supposed to reveal one of the twin genders. Luka grabbed the other one and everyone gather around us happy. I smiled at Luka as everyone counted down.

"THREE TWO ONE" THey yelled and we both popped our canon. I could not believe it mine shoot blue and his shoot pink which meant we were going to have a boy and a girl. I can not wait to see my babes only two more months to go then I would see my babies. I had already chosen their names and can not wait to have them here with us.

"So what are you gonna name them," Taffy asked as I and Luka walked to our close friends and family. I smiled warmly and nodded at them.

"Yes the girl is going to be named Bonnie and the boy is going to be named Eli," I said. Luka took my hand and kissed it softly. The rest of the day was spent opening baby shower gifts and talking to people that wanted to congratulate us on our baby twins.

The next few days were spent decorating the nursery and playroom with the things that we got from the baby shower. We also went out and bought a bunch of stuff for the babies including their first outfits.

The girl was a sky blue one that said daddy's little princess and it had a white skirt around it and a matching blue and white hat. The boy was green with a brown and green hat it said mommy's little prince. I had picked them out and Luka thought they were the cutest things in the world.

It was a month after the baby shower and I was laying in my bed with Luka and Alice reading the princess and the frog to Alice and the babies so excited that it was only a month until my baby would be here and I could hug the two of them. Just then I felt a horrible pain in my lower stomach and I screamed.
