Aphmau groans. She can barely recall the events leading up to here, wherever she is. Her werewolf ears perk up when she catches the sound of footsteps approaching. The petite woman flinches as somebody throws two bodies next to her.

"Ow." she hears a familiar voice say. "You could've thrown us a bit nicer!"

"Nico, shut up."

Zana's son whips his head around. "The fuck you mean?"

"Language!" Aph hears the other voice butt in.

"Oh, like you're one to talk, Ethan!" Nico shouts.

Ethan? No! He and Nico can't be here! Wherever here is.

"No, I mean it! Keep the language down and shut up! Someone's coming." Ethan says.

Aphmau calms her now beating heart and listens. She hears nobody so the fact her son hears someone, is strange.

"Are your ears ringing? I hear nobody." Nico comments. "Then again, I'm not a werewolf like you."

A tray is slid in her direction and a pair of boots halt in their tracks. "Eat up." the voice says. "I don't want you to go hungry."

Her caramel eyes glance up into a pair of darker caramel orbs. "What do you want?" she huffs.

"All I want, is you free. You don't deserve to be here, Aphmau."

"I'm not leaving here without the two boys that were brought in here earlier!"

"Then, you'll have to put up a fight. Just, stay alive, will you?" the voice turns his back towards her. "You're still my daughter in the end."

Aphmau scoffs and reaches to the tray, picking up the small loaf of bread in her hand. She breaks off a small piece and flings it at his head. "Jackass." she whispers.

"Been called worse, believe me. Here." he throws a pair of keys to her. "Those will free the meif'wa boy."

"And the other one?" she growls. "What of him?"

"He's being tested at the moment. We all are."

ONE HOUR LATER

Ethan stands in the center, with Guardian Force guns aimed at him and Nico nowhere in sight. His icy blue gaze lifts up to above him, on the platform. His mother stands before him with some onyx-brown haired guy standing beside her.

"Now, young boy, this test is simple. You will be given a choice: save your friend or save the woman. Failure to decide will result in your untimely death."a white haired man tells Ethan, smiling broadly.

"Go to hell! I'm not choosing anyone!"

"Oo, feisty. I hate that." the man replies. "Kill the meif'wa."

"NO!" Ethan bellows.

His eyesight flickers before the next thing he recalls is several dead bodies laying around him and Nico unharmed.

"Ethan?" he faintly hears Aphmau whisper.

"Not again." he mumbles, his gaze tilting downwards to his hand.

Again, he's holding a heart in his hand and he chucks it in a different direction.

The man merely grins and turns on his heels. His hand subconsciously pulls out his walkie-talkie then brings it closer to his mouth. "I believe we have a talented murderer on our hands."
