Three days later, Ethan finds himself hugging his parents before he leaves for his trip. They had stated just a day ago that they'd join him in Zuvia for his coronation and Alina has never been more excited in her life. Even Lilith, who despite just recently joining the family, was happy for him.

It has been in the works in for a few days now, that he'd fly out to Zuvia with River and Alfred; both of whom are waiting on board the plane for him. When his parents' car stops at the airport, he sighs. This would be the last time he sees Phoenix Claw until he comes back home in a month.

Alfred

Hey, r u almost here?
My dad's getting antsy.
Even my sister's calls can't
calm him. Plz hurry.

Haha. Just outside, saying bye to
my parents and sisters.

Sisters? I thought u only
had one. Alina, was it?

My parents adopted another child.
Tell River he can either calm down by himself, or
he can shit himself when I get there.

:D threatening.
Love it.

...shut up.

"We want you to take care of yourself, okay? You have your medication, if you need it, right? Oh, and some first aid! And water, plenty of water!" Aphmau shouts.

Ethan snorts. "Yes Mom. I have everything. You guys will be joining me there in a few days anyways. I'm sure all will be good."

Aphmau grabs him and pulls him into a hug as does Aaron. "Never thought our sixteen year old son would become an Alpha of an actual pack."

"Your biological parents, I'm sure, would be proud of you." Aph smiles. "As are we."

"I have to go, I'm not sure how much longer Alfred can deal with River. I love you both. And Alina. Lilith too, I suppose."

Ethan leans against his arm as he looks out the window. He jolts up when he hears a loud smack erupt from a stack of papers sitting on the table in front of him. His eyes shift upwards at River, who stands with hands on hips and foot tapping the ground at an impatient tempo.

"What's all this for?" he frowns. "I don't recall a stack of papers being ordered."

River eyes the stack. "That stack, is every law and rule in Zuvia. As a soon to be named Zuvian Alpha, you must read all that to understand and acknowledge the laws and rules of the country."

"I have to read all this?" Ethan gapes then groans when he sees River nod. "I'm going to be here all plane ride."

"I'll help, if that would make things easier." Alfred jumps in.

River gives him a harsh glare. "Ethan, as Alpha, should do this on his own. You are a future Gamma, Alfred, it's not your job to help."

"It is if he's my friend!" Alfred fires back. "Come on, Dad! You'd help too if it was Josh!"

"Don't you dare say that name. He's dead." River snaps.

"ENOUGH!" Ethan growls loudly. "Al can help, that's fine. I don't really understand all this Zuvian language anyways. And second, River; the name of the former alpha can be said. There's no rule or law that states otherwise."
