"Fine. So, when is he coming?" Aaron asks.

"Tomorrow, according to Aphmau." Melissa responds. "Don't worry, bro. I'll handle your girlfriend. It'll be like sister bonding!"

"I'm happy you two are getting along. Makes proposing to Aph even easier." her brother cracks a grin.

The brunette blonde stares at him. "Propose?" she whispers. "OH MY IRENE! My SHIP IS SAILING! I REPEAT, MY SHIP IS SAILING!"

Aaron takes a step forward and reaches a hand out to pull on Melissa's left wolf ear. "Keep talking or I'm telling Dad no pancakes for you."

"Not Dad's pancakes! They're the best!" Melissa whines while her brother merely smirks at her response. "You are lucky you're my brother."

"Great! So we're at an agreement."

"Just go to your apartment!" Melissa barks.

"Zane, I don't think I can go." a pink haired woman mumbles, her fluffy cat ears hang down.

Zane pauses packing, setting the garment down on top of his suitcase. "Why not? You promised me we would go together."

"I know I promised you. It's just, with you being a vampire and me being a Meif'wa, what can one even call our relationship?" she whispers.

"A relationship with love and meaning, respect and compassion. Nana, our relationship is evidence that any supernatural creature out there can find love." Zane tells her.

Nana's thin lips turn into a smile. "Thank you Zane. You always know what to say to cheer me up." she says.

The Meif'wa snatches the garment and gently folds it nicely before setting it down in Zane's suitcase. "Partners 'till the end, remember?"

"Partners 'till the end, Nana." Zane states.

The door to their shared house bangs open and the two immediately move to stand on opposite sides of the house. Their blue haired female friend folds her arms across her chest as she raises an eyebrow.

"Were you two doing something?" she humbly asks.

"Kawaii~Chan and Zane~Kun were just talking, Katelyn~Sama." Nana speaks.

"Okay then, Travis and I are all done packing. Are you two going to join us on tonight's flight?"

"We can join you, that way, we'd be at Starlight a little earlier." the raven haired vampire replies.

"Great. Then, I'll just let Travis know." Katelyn comments as she fishes out her phone from her back jean pocket of her shorts.

Nana waits until Katelyn's back is turned away from her and Zane before she rapidly grabs Zane's right hand, leading him into the garage of their house.

"Before we leave, you need to eat. I don't want you going stir crazy all because you chose not to drink." the Meif'wa murmurs to the vampire.

"Are you actually offering your blood, Nana?" Zane whispers in a hushed tone.

Amber colored eyes lift up to stare into his pale blue one. "Yes. Now shut up and eat."

Zane positions his hands around Nana's waist to bring her body closer to his as if they're hugging. He leans his head down and lifts one hand off her waist to pull her hair away from her neck. The raven haired man lets his tongue lick her bare neck for a second before sinking his pokey fangs into her neck.

Nana's hand grasps onto Zane's raven locks. "As always, your blood is sweet." she hears him whisper in between drinking.

"Didn't you tell me there's a supernatural creature who's blood is even more sweeter than mine?"
